    Mrs. Bertha W. Lang, thirty-eight
    years old, wife of Phillip A. Lang,
    died last night at her home, No. 112
    Broad street, after a lingering illness
    Mrs. Lang was born In Germany but
    the greater part of her life was spent
    as a resident of Tonawanda. She was
    a member of the Ladies' Aid society,
    the Home Department and the Missionary
    society of the Salem church.
    Besides her husband, she is survived
    by two daughters, the Misses Vera and
    Magdalena Lang; two sons, Philip K
    and Arnold L. Lang; a mother, Mrs
    Wilhelmina Strehlow; a sister, Mrs.
    Frank Hahn, and three brothers, Au
    gust Strehlow, all of Tonawanda and
    Emil and Herman Strehlow of Buf-
    fa!o. The funeral will be held Thursday
    afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late
    residence anil half an hour later at
    the Salem church, Rev. Andrew Hils
    officiating. Burial will be at Elmlawn

    Frederick J. Strehlow, 71 years old,
    died Sunday noon at his home at No.
    100 William street. Death followed
    lingering illness. He was born in
    Germany and had lived in the Tonawandas
    during the past 26 years. He
    is survived by a wife, four sons, Albert
    and Herman of Buffalo, August
    of Tonawanda, and Emil of Midland,
    Ont., and two daughters, Mrs. Philip
    Lang and Mrs. Frank Hahn of Tonawanda.
    The funeral will be held tomorrow
    afternoon at 2 o'clock from
    the late residence and half an hour
    later from the Emanuel Lutheran
    church on Morgan street. Rev. F. O.
    Scholz officiating. Burial will be L
    Elm lawn.

    Mrs. Wilhelmina C. Strehlow, 82
    years old, died last night at the
    home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank
    Hahn, 100 William street. She was
    born in Germany and had resided
    in Tonawanda for the past 40
    years. She was a member of the
    Ladies' Aid society of the Immanuel
    Lutheran church.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
    Hahn; three sons, August R., Tonawanda,
    Emil, Alhambra, Cal., and
    Herman, Los Angeles, Cal.; 15
    grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held Sunday
    afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the
    Hahn residence. Rev. F. O. Scholz
    will officiate and burial will be at
    Elmlawn.
