1968) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
Survived by his wife. Lexy T.
(nee Stevenson) Acker man; a
daughter, Mrs. Francis
(Elizabeth) Huss of Penfield,
N.Y.: a son, Donald E.
Ackerman of North Tonawanda:
a sister, Mrs. Lyle
(Verna) Gipp Sr., North Tonawanda;
two brothers, Glenwood
C. and Ira Ackerman, both
of T o n a w a n d a : seven
grandchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ackerman was a member
of North Presbyterian
Church, Sutherland Lodge 826,
F&AM and Fellowcraft Club,
and was a former employe of
Columbus-McKinnon Corp.
Friends may call from 2 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hilliard
Funeral Home Inc., 147
Delaware St., Tonawanda,
where services will be
conducted at 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, the Rev. Frank E.
Wright officiating. Interment in
White Chapel Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the
North Presbyterian Church
Memorial Fund or Sutherland
Lodge Building Fund. Masonic
memorial services will be at 8
p.m.'Tuesday at the funeral
home.

died last night in her home, Creekside
Drive and Falls Blvd., Town
of Amherst. A native of Getzville,
she has been a lifelong resident in
the Town of Amherst. She was a
member of the Grace. Lutheran
Church. Widow of the late Otis C
Ackerman, she is survived by a
daughter, Mrs. Lyle Gipp, three
sons, Earl E., Glenwood C. and Ira
L. Ackerman, all of the Tonawandas;
six grandchildren. Services
will be Monday at 3:30 p.m. the
Rev. Hermann Miller officiating.
