NEWFANE-Services for Sum-
ner F. Wyman; 55, of Transit Rd.,
wiIl be conducted at 2:30 p.m.
Friday; at the Corwin Funeral
Home. Burial will be in Wright's
Corners Cemetery.
Mr.. Wyman died Tuesday
(March 5, 1957) at Lockport Memorial
Hospital where-he-had been
a patient for a few; days. ,He had
been employed in the blue print de-
partment- of Harrison Radiator Division
of' General Motors Corp.,
Lockport. He previously worked
as a mechanic for Rae Lane and
was. an office employe of the
Rome, Watertown and Ogdensburt
Railroad, Ontario Division. He
was a member of-First Baptist
Church here.
The'son of the late Fred and
Jennie Cobb Wyman, Mr. Wyman
was born at Apple'ton on Aug. 12,
1901. He attended Barker Central
School.-He resided here since 1923.
Surviving are his wife, Florence
Wilkins Wyman; a daughter, Ruth
Wyman, two sons, Sumner A. and
John A. Wyman, and a grandson,
al of Newfahe; a brother, Clifford
Wyman Appleton.

Sumner married WILKINS, Florence L about 1927. Florence (daughter of WILKINS, Augustine and BEHNKE, Ernestine Friederike) was born on 26 Aug 1907 in New York; died on 22 Jan 1993 in Town of Newfane, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Fred married COBB, Jennie E about 1896. Jennie (daughter of Carrie E) was born about 1872 in New York; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

NEWFANE. Sept. 5.-Funeral services
for August Wilkins. 74, Transit
road farmer, were held from the home
Monday afternoon the Rev. William
Dallman, of Ridgewood Lutheran
church, and the Rev. Carl S. Daul-
phin, of Youngstown, officiating. He
is survived by his wife, Ernestine, and
was the father of five sons and
three daughters, Fred, August, Mrs.
Winella Goodlander, of Lockport,
Willis, of Wilson. Elmer, of North
Ridge, John and Mrs. Florence Wyman,
of Newfane, and Mrs. Ruth
Stern (deceased). Also surviving are
three brothers. Louis and William, of
Burt, John, of Wilson, and a sister
Mrs. C. B. Korff, of Lockport. Interment
was in North Ridge cemetery,
grandsons being bearers.

Augustine married BEHNKE, Ernestine Friederike about 1885. Ernestine (daughter of BEHNKE, Christian Friedrich and SEEBRANDT, Friedricke) was born on 1 Oct 1865 in Wallmow, Brandenburg, Prussia; died on 14 Nov 1944 in Town of Newfane, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

NEWFANE-A resident of town
of Newfane for 60 years, Mrs.
Ernestine Behnke Wilkins, 79,
widow of Augustus H. Wilkins,
died Tuesday evening at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Sumner F.
Wyman, Transit Road, after a long
Illness.
Born In Germany, Mrs. Wilkins
came to this country with her parents
at the age of 11, first living
in St. Johns-burg and later in North
Ridge. Her residence in Newfane
dates from her marriage. She has
made her home with Mrs. Wyman
since the death of Mr. Wilkins 12
years ago. She was a member of
St. John's Lutheran Church. Mrs.
Wilkins is survived by five sons and
two daughters: Fred, Lockport;
Willis, Wilson; Elmer, Ransomville;
John and August, Newfane; Mrs.
Winella Goodlander, Lockport and
Mrs. Wyman.
Services will be held Friday at 2
o'clock at the Wyman home and
will be conducted by the Rev. William
H. Dallmann. Burial in North
Ridge Lutheran Cemetery

Hiram Wyman. 85 years old, a farmer
of Appleton. died at his residence last
evening. Besides his wife he is survived
by one son and two daughters.
The funeral will be held Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o'.elock from the family
residence and burial will be in the West
Somerset cemetery.

Hiram married PIERCE, Prudence on 11 May 1872. Prudence (daughter of PIERCE, Chester) was born on 27 Aug 1842 in Swanton, Franklin County, VT; died on 25 Apr 1942 in Town of Appleton, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

APPLETON-Funeral s e r v i c es
for Mrs. Prudence Wyman, widow
of the late Hiram Wyman who died
Saturday, were held at the home
of a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Gow,
and Mr. Gow, Hess road, with the
Rev. Charles Sicard, pastor of the
Wesleyan Methodist church officiating.
Burial was In the family plot
in the West Somerset cemetery.
Mrs. Wymnn was born In Swanton,
Franklin county, Vermont on August
27, 1842. She was brought to this
section by her parents. Mr. and Mrs.
Chester Pierce, when an infant and
made her home with them on the
Hess road until her marriage to
Hiram Wyman on May 11, 1872.
After their marriage the couple
lived on a farm In North Hartland
for 40 years and later made their
home on the corner of the Hess road
and Swlgert road.
Mrs. Wyman had been confined
to her bed most of the time since
she suffered a fractured right arm
last September. She was a member
of the Wesleyan Methodist church.
The pallbearers were all grandsons,
Clifford Wyman, Walter Wyman,
