Mrs. Mary Wynn passed away at
the home of her son, Thomas Wynn,
Thursday morning, May 13.. Mrs
Wynn was the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Evan Pritchard. She was born
in Carnarvon Shire, North Wales,
June 27, 1828, and came to this. country
in 1850, and took up her residence
In West Turin, where nearly all her
life has been spent. March 10, 1854
she was united in marriage to William
Wynn, of Leyden, by the Rev
Erastus S. Barnes, at Boonville. Mrs
Wynn was a very actlve^woman of
her years, until three months ago
when she had the misfortune to fall
and fracture her hip. Since then she
had been confined to her bed most
of the time. Mrs. Wynn was a mem
her of the Welsh Calvlnistic church
in Constableville, but which has been
closed for a number of years. When
meetings were held in this place of
worship, she was one of the many
members who possessed a fine voice
and always joined in the congrega
tional singing, which the Welsh people
so greatly enjoy. During her ill
ness she was tenderly cared for by
Mrs. Thomas Wynn. Mrs. Wynn was
the mother of three children; one
daughter died when young. There now
survive two sons, Thomas and John
Wynn, both of Constableville; also
four grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. Mrs. Wynn had a large
circle of friends and was held in high
esteem. In her death Constableville
loses one of its oldest residents. The
funeral was attended by many friends
at the home of her son, Thomas
Wynn, Saturday at 2 p. m., Rev. G.
Holyoake, of the M. E. church, offi
ciating. Interment was made in
Constableville cemetery.
