Henry Ackerman, son of Mr and
Mrs. Henry Ackerman. The wedding
will take place in the fall.

Arlene Yensan, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Benjamin Yensan, Beaver Island
Park, was married to Loran Ackerman
at the home of E. U. Braunschweig
Thursday afternoon at 5
o'clock. George Anderson and Miss
Doris Yensan were the best man and
bridesmaid. The youthful bride was
lovely in her fall rust gown and carried
a bouquet of orchid sweet peas.
Supper for the family was served at
Buffalo. After a motor trip East they
will reside at Buffalo.

GRAND ISLAND-Henry Ackerman,
68, died suddenly of a heart
attack Saturday evening at his
home in the Staley road. Mr. Ackerman
was bom on Grand Island, a
son of pioneer settlers, and had resided
here all his life.
In former years he was a successful
farmer and for more than 20
years served as town superintendent
of highways, for the last few years
he had been employed on the south
Grand Island bridge.
Mr. Ackerman is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Elvlna Staley Ackerman.
at home; three daughters . Mrs.
Alice Benton, of Grand Island.
Mrs. Andrus. of Buffalo, and Miss
Betty Ackerman, at home; one son,
Lorn Ackerman of Kenmore, N. Y.
Funeral services will be held at
the home Wednesday afternoon at
2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Marvin Rickert
will officiate. Interment will be
In Staley cemetery.
