    W. Roger Wendt, 97, passed away surrounded by his children, Sunday, January 29, 2023. Born in Pekin, NY on November 8, 1925, he was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Sanborn, NY.
    He retired as a pipefitter from Harrison Radiator, Lockport, NY in 1988. He and his predeceased wife, Betty Fay (Lymburner) lived primarily in central Florida in a home on Oakwood Golf Course, Lake Wales. He was an avid golfer, gardener, enjoyed investing and was a loyal fan of the Buffalo Bills and Orlando Magic.
    He is survived by his five children: Linda J. Miller (Thomas) of Williamsburg, VA, Douglas R. Wendt (Debra) of Pendleton, NY, Nadine A. Stom (Glenn)of Indian Lake Estates, FL, Gregg D. Wendt (Susan) of Sanborn, NY, Rodney J. Wendt (Karen) of North Tonawanda, NY; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
    He is loved, was loved and will always be loved by family and friends as we celebrate his life. We should follow his example and enjoy life as he did, one day at a time. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

    LAKE WALES - Betty Faye Wendt, 93, passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020.
    Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., on March 14, 1927, she was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, in Sanborn, N.Y.
    She is survived by her husband of 72 years, W. Roger Wendt; 5 children: Linda J. Miller (Tom) of VA, Douglas R. Wendt (Debra) of Pendleton, N.Y., Nadine A. Stom (Glenn) of Indian Lakes Estates, FL, Gregg D. Wendt (Susan) of Sanborn, N.Y., Rodney J. Wendt (Karen) of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. She was cherished by her family and will be missed by us all.

    The marriage of Miss Betty Fay
    Lymburner, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Isaac L. Lymburner, this city,
    to Mr. Roger Wendt, Sanborn, was
    solemnised Saturday afternoon at 3
    o'clock In Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
    church, South avenue, with the
    Rev. Paul Hartenberger officiating
    at the double ring ceremony
    Mrs. A. E. Caterina at the organ
    and Miss Thelma Pearson, soloist,

    provided the musical setting for the
    ceremony.
    The bride was given in marriage
    by her father. She wore a gown of
    white crepe with sweetheart neckline
    and fitted bodice. Her fingertip
    veil fell from a tiara of seed pearls.
    She carried an arm bouquet of white
    roses with an orchid center.
    .' The matron of honor was Mrs.
    Noreen Lewis, sister of the bride.
    The'bridesmaids were: Miss Roberta
    Reade, Mrs, Veronica DeVantier and
    Miss Rosanne Caputo,
    Mr. Robert Wendt, brother of the
    bridegroom, was the best man with
    Mr. John Lymburner, Mr. George
    Schwenkback and Mr. Myrlin
    Strassburg as ushers.
    The wedding, dinner and reception
    were held at the Plantation.
    For travel the bride chose a suit
    of glen plaid with navy and white
    accessories. Mr. and Mrs.' Wendt
    will reside at 1321 South avenue
