    A pretty wedding was solemnized

    Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.
    m in St. Matthews' Evangelical
    Lutheran church when Miss Norma
    June Liebeck, daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. William Liebeck,
    of 385 Falconer street became the
    bride of John Young, son of Mr.
    and Mrs- Anson Young of the
    Campbell boulevard.
    Palms banked the altar which
    was decorated with baskets of
    white pom pons and tall candelabra.
    Lighted tapers marked the
    alternating pews of the church.
    During the ceremony Delbert
    Schultz sang "I Love You Truly"
    and "Lord We Today At Thine
    Altar Stand" with Miss Ruth East,
    organ accompanist.
    Given in marriage by her father
    the bride wore a gown of white
    satin, buttoned down the back,
    fashioned with sweetheart neck-
    line and long pointed sleeves. the
    bodice was fitted and the shirred
    skirt fell into a court length train.
    Her fingertip veil of net and lace
    fell from a beaded crown and
    she wore a single strand of pears,
    the gift of the bridegroom. Her
    arm bouquet was of white roses
    and pom pons.
    Mias Alice Liebeck, sister of

    the bride, aa maid of honor, wore
    a dusty rose gown and carried
    lavendar pom pons with matching
    tiara of flowers in her coiffure.
    Mrs. Ann Liebeck, sister-in-law
    of the bride, and Miss Mary Lou
    Zahm her cousin, wore gowns of
    aqua fashioned like the maid of
    honor. They carried bronze and
    yellow chrysanthemums and wore
    tiaras to match. All attendants
    wore elbow length mitts to match
    their gowns.
    Floyd Wells attended the bridegroom
    as best man and Robert
    Liebeck and Eugene Monk were
    the ushers.
    For her daughter's weddding,
    Mrs. Liebeck chose a black crepe
    dress trimmed with sequins and
    matching accessories. The bridegroom's
    mother also wore black
    crepe with nail head trimming
    and matching; accessories. Both
    wore corsages of yellow rose buds
    and pom pons.
    Following the ceremony a reception
    for 200 guests was held in
    Ukranian hall.
    Buffet luncheon was served from
    a long table, centered with a
    wedding cage and tall tapers. Out
    of town guests were present from
    Angola, Lockport, Grand Island,
    Wilson, Buffalo and Pennsylvania
    Pre-nuptial parties were given
    the bride by Miss Alice Liebeck,
    Mrs. Robert Liebeck, Mrs. Anson
    Young and Mrs. George Couch
    and a rehearsal dinner was given
    by the bride's parents, Mr. and
    Mrs. Liebeck.
    After a short motor trip, Mr.
    and Mrs. Young will be at home
    temporarily at 385 Falconer St.

    Adolf Liebeck, of 41 Rumbold Ave. died this morning after an illness of several days. Born in Germany he had resided in North Tonawanda the past 59 years. Surviving are his wife, Johanna (nee, Poerschke; a daughter, Mrs. William Moltzan; two sons, William and Ernest all of Tonawanda; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St, until noon Saturday. Funeral services will be held in St Matthew's Lutheran Church Saturday at 2 p. m. The Rev. Paul Gassman will officiate. Interment will be in St Matthew's Cemetery.

    Mrs. Elizabeth Poerschke
    Mrs. Elizabeth Poerschke, 70 yrs. old. died Sunday night at the home of her daughter. Mrs . Gustav Kriedemann, Walck and Nash Rds, after a lingering illness. She was born in Germany. She had been a resident of of North Tonawanda for the past 30 years. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Kriedemann Mrs. August Ziehm and Mrs. Adolf Liebeck, four sons, Otto Braun, and Rudolph, William and August Poerschke, all of North Tonawanda, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Eichler, Ebling, Germany. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kriedemann home. Rev. Carl Frankenstein of the St. Matthews' church officiating. Burial will be in the St. Matthew Cemetery.
