KNACK - Arthur H. Knack,
71, of 15 Steiner Ave., Tonawanda,
died Thursday evening
(March 23, 1967) at the Sheridan
Manor Nursing Home, Town
of Tonawanda, after a brief illness.
A native of Tonawanda, he
was the husband of Rose (nee
Sahr) Knack, who died in 1960.
Mr. Knack was a former mem-
ber of Immanuel Lutheran
Church Council and had been
employed at Columbus McKin-
non Corp. for 40 years, retiring
about five years ago. Survivors
include a daughter, Mrs. Carl-
ton (June) Bjerke and a grand-
daughter, Barbara Jane Bjerke
of the Town of Tonawanda.
Friends may call at John O.
Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and
William Streets, Tonawanda,
Friday and Saturday from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday
until noon. Services will be con-
ducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at
Immanuel Lutheran Church by
the Rev. Paul W. Szamanske.
Burial will be in Elmlawn Cem-
etery.

Arthur married SAHR, Rosa Pauline Louisa on 15 Jun 1929 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. Rosa (daughter of SAHR, Wilhelm Friedrich and ZANOW, Johanna Wilhelmine) was born on 2 Jun 1896 in Niagara County, NY; died on 14 Dec 1960 in Degraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY.
