    LOCKPORT — Timothy W. Zapp passed away, unexpectedly, into eternal rest July 9, 2011. Born on December 13, 1953 in Lockport, he was the son of Bernard Zapp and the late Eleanor (Spade) Zapp. Tim worked as a laborer for Stedman Old Farm Nurseries.

    Besides his father, Bernard Zapp he is survived by his wife, Karyn Zapp; step-sons, Kenneth D. and Paul S. Aikin, both of Newfane; and was the brother of Terry (Fukumi) Zapp of Arizona and Michael (Christine) Zapp of Lockport.

    Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.

    LOCKPORT — Bernard W. Zapp passed away, unexpectedly, September 20, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born August 23, 1925 in Lockport, he was the son of John and Frances (Moran) Zapp. Bernard served in the US Navy from 1942 to 1946 on the USS Lacerta, where he was a radio operator. Upon returning from service he went to work and retired from Harrison Radiator, Div. of G.M. Bernard was a member of the VFW Post 2535 and enjoyed visiting family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping and sports. He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor (Spade) Zapp on October 7, 2003; and his son, Timothy Zapp on July 9, 2011.

    Bernard is survived by his two sons, Terry (Fukumi) Zapp of Arizona and Michael (Christine) Zapp of Lockport; father-in-law of Karen Zapp of Newfane; brother of Jean (late Richard) Brauer and the late John Zapp, Harold Zapp and Rosemary Glena; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.

    He was John Zapp Sr.,

    Prior to his employment

    John P. Zapp, 83, of 399 East
    Union street, died last evening
    at her home. Born in Germany,
    Mrs. Zapp came to this, country
    whea a girl, locating in this city.
    She was a member of Si. Mary's
    church and its Altar and Rosary
    society.
    Surviving are three daughters,
    Mrs. Elizabeth Sullivan, vAstoria,
    Long Island, Mrs. Albert Nagel
    and Mrs. Myron Sanford, both of
    this city; three sons, John, George
    and Leo, all of Lockport, and a
    brother, George Anna, Lockport.
    Services will be held Monday at
    8:30 a.m. at the Gaul Funeral home
    and at" 9 o'clock" at St." Mary's
    church. Interment will be in St.
    Mary's cemetery.
