A pre'ty wedding toofc.place at the homo ;
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zeiger of-No. 1618
Ontario Avenue 'last night, when Misa
Annie Jelfs, sister of Mrs. Zeiger, was
united in marriage to Mr. Anton Leslie, a
Lehigh Valley brakeman, who is well and
favorably known among the young people .
at the North End. The ceremony was
performed by the Rev. J. H. Asbeck of the
German Lutheran Church, Mr. John
Mack and Mr. Charles Monsehart acting as
groomsmen, and the Misses Donna John-
son and Bertha Miller acting as brides-
maids. There were some 75 guests present
at. the wedding and the young people received
many warm congratulations upon their
new departure into wedded life.

avenue, received a message of the
death of her mother. Mra. Mary Jelfs,
London. England. Besldes Mrs. Zei-
ger, she is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. George Oaks, of Akron, Ohio;
one son, Alfred Jelfs, whose whereabouts
is unknown.
