    Funeral services will be held
    Thursday for a native of LaSalle,
    Mrs. Elizabeth W. Zeiger, 91, who
    died Saturday (May 7, 1955) in
    Madison, N. J. Mrs. Zeiger was the
    widow of Louis Zeiger, founder and
    first treasurer in 1887 of the Niagara
    Permanent Loan Assn., who
    died in 1913
    Mrs. Zieger was the daughter of

    Andrew and Susan Wattengel. She
    came to Niagara.Falls in 1884 as
    a bride and more recently lived
    with her niece, Mrs. E. A. Kinsey,
    in the Jefferson Apartments. She
    was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal
    Church
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.

    At wood B. Gatman, Summit, N. L;
    a granddaughter, Mrs. Raymond H.
    Spencer, Decatur, III., and three
    great granddaughters. ^
    Services will be held at 2 p.m.
    at the Cornell and Daggett Funeral
    Chapel with the Very Rev. Blake
    B. Hammond officiating. Burial will
    be in Riverdale cemetery.

    The sun shone very brightly yesterday
    afternoon on Louis Zeiger, Jr., and Miss
    Lizzie Wattengale who were united in
    the holy bonds of matrimony at the
    home of the bride in La Salle. It being
    a home wedding, only relatives and very
    intimate friends were invited to enjoy
    the festivities. The ceremony was per-
    formed by the Rev. Geo. F. Rosenmuller
    and after the usual congratulations ail

    sat down to partake of an elegant supper.
    The happy couple left on the
    evening train for New York and Brook
    lyn where they will visit a sister of the
    groom. The presents were numerous,
    among which we noticed a fine
    silver cake basket, from Mr. and Mrs.
    Wattengale, a castor from Mr. and Mrs.
    John Williams, bed-room set from Mr.
    and Mrs. Andrew Wattengale, butter
    dish from Mrs. Angevine, silver pickle
    castor, from Miss Lizzie Knott, easy
    chair from Mrs, J. Albert, solid silver
    spoon holder from Mrs. Odander, Ash
    land, Wis., silver call bell Bud Williams,
    silver water pitcher from Lulu Williams,
    3 doz., silver forks and spoons from Mrs.
    A. Mattern, a silver spoon holder from
    Miss Belle Knott, and a china tea set
    from the Misses Zeiger.

    1. ZEIGER, William Frederick was born in Feb 1893 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; died in Feb 1893 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.
