16, 1963, Charles A. Zeiger, age 64,
of 1300 Linwood Ave. Husband of
Clara I.; father of Mrs. Edward
(Thelma) Tollner, ot Cheekfowaga,
N.Y., and Charles Zeiger of Niagara
Falls, Ontario. Also survived by one
granddaughter. Funeral services will
be held Monday at 2 P.m. in the
Otto R e d a n z Funeral Home Inc.,
Michigan Ave. and 10th, the Rev,
Paul R. Swank oHIclating. Interment
in Oakwood Cemetery.

Frank Zeiger, 67 y e a rs old, 1105 North
avenue, retired railroad man. died yes-
terday, following a short Illness Fun-
eral services will be held at the family
home Wednesday at 3 p. m.. the Rev.
Herman Brezing officiating. Burial will
be in-Oakwood cemetery.
Mr. Zeiger was born in Niagara Falls,
son of the late Jacob and Anna Main
Zeiger and lived her all his life. He
was empoyed by the New York Cen-
tral railroad for 44 years, retiring two
years ago. He was a volunteer of the
old Bellevue Hose company. He was a
member of the Brotherhood of Railway
Clerks and of the Exempt Firemen's
Association and had a wife circle of
friends in the city.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary
Zeiger, and two sons, George A. an d
Charles A. Zeiger, all of this city.

The will of Mrs. Mary Zeiger.
who died here October 7, was "filed
for probate with County Judge-Surrogate
Raymond A. Knowles. In surrogate's
court at City Hall today and
George Zeiger, a son. was named
executor of the estate. The estate,
consisting of $500 and upwards
realty and $500 and upwards personal
property. Is to be divided between
two sons, the executor and
Charles A. Zieger, both of this city.
George Zeiger Is bequeathed $500
and the remainder of the estate
Is to be divided equally between the
two heirs, according to the terms
of the will.

Jacob Zeiger died at his home at Suspension
Bridge on Saturday last. He was born
in Bavaria in 1827. In 1848 his father
brought his family to this, country and came
direct to Suspension Bridge. In 1848 Jacob
Zeiger was married to Mary Wagner, who
survives him as do also five sons and two
daughters. The deceased had been in the
employment of the N. Y. C. Railroad at
the Bridge for over 20 years, and was a
prominent member of the German-American
Association. The funeral was held from
the German Lutheran Church, Suspension
Bridge, yesterday afternoon.

Jacob married WAGNER, Anna Maria in 1848 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Anna was born in Nov 1832 in Mehrsfeld, Germany; died on 30 Jan 1913 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Mrs. Anna M. Zeigor, widow of the
late Jacob Zeiger. and mother of Supervisor
George Zeiger. died at the residence.
No. 1528 Ontario avenue, early
t h i s morning. Mrs. Zeiger was born
in Germany 80 years ago and has
made her home in this city for over 60
years. About six months ago Mrs.
Zeiger was taken with a paralytic
stroke and had never fully recovered.
Her death wad due chiefly to old age.
She is survived by four sons. Jacob,
Frank, Charles and George, and two
daughters. Elizabeth, and A. Mary,
all of this city. The funeral announcement
will be made later.

Mrs. Frank Zeiger. No. 1705 North
avenue, received a message of the
death of her mother. Mra. Mary Jelfs,
London. England. Besldes Mrs. Zei-
ger, she is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. George Oaks, of Akron, Ohio;
one son, Alfred Jelfs, whose whereabouts
is unknown.
