Colin H. White, 64, of 451
Third St., died today:(Nov; 19,
1958) at Veterans Hospital,
Buffalo, after an illness of
seven months.
Born in Oakville, Ont., Mr.
White came to Niagara Falls
51 years ago. He had lived
here since.
A veteran of World War I,
he saw action in. France. He
was a m e m b e r of John J.
Welch Post, No. 381, American
Legion, and of St. Peter's Epis-
copal Church.
For 30 years, Mr. White had
been employed by the Strand
Theater Corp. as projectionist.
He worked until stricken and
hospitalized.
Survivors include his wife,
Mrs. Gertrude Zeiger White,
this city; a son, Francis C.
White, this city, one sister,
Mrs. Bernice Begley, Allen
Park, Mich., and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held
Friday at 1 p.m. at the Redanz
Funeral Home. The Rev. Canon
Richard B. Townsend, of
St. Peter's Episcopal Church,
will officiate. Burial will be in
Riverdale Cemetery.

George P, Zeiger, 65 years old, of
No. 468 Eighth street, died at his
home yesterday. He is survived by
three sons, Herman, George and
Phillip, three daughters, Mrs. Grace
Thomas, Mrs. Gertrude White, and
Mrs. Martha Beahen, all of this city,
three sisters, Mrs. Sophia Hilde-
brandt of La Salle, Mrs. Mary Wat-
tengale of this city, and Mrs. Mar-
garet Hildebrandt of Tonawanda, and
one brother Jacob Zeiger of La Salle.
The funeral will be held from the
family home Wednesday afternoon at
2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Herman Brez-
ing of the Zion Lutheran church will
officiate. The interment will be in
Whitemire cemetery.

Philip Zeiger of La Salle, brother of
L. Zeiger, sixty-three years of ago, was
drowned at La Salle Saturday evening.
Mr. Zeiger resided on a farm a short
distance, this side of La Salle. About
three years ago while riding in a wagon
he was thrown out backward, by the
tipping of a seat. and.striking on his
head, received injuries which seriously
effected his memory. It was his habit
to take long walks, and Saturday morning
lie started out, going first to La
Salle, then" to Suspension Bridge, Pletcher
Corners and, Lewiston, returning to
La Salle some time in the evening. One
of Mr. Zeiger's son's-in-law is engaged
in building a ltfjdgc across Cayuga
Creek, and it is supposed thnt he went
on to the bridge, and either walked off
or .sitting down, dropped to sleep from
fatigue, and fell off. He was first miss-
ed Saturday afternoon, and traced over
the route mentioned above. After it
was found he had retuned to LaSalle,
search was made in the creek and his
body recovered early Sunday morning.
Coroner Eisheimer held an inquest Mon-
day.
