    Otto Rietsch, 61, of the Nash road, town of Wheatfield, died yesterday afternoon at the DeGraff Memorial hospital. Born in Germany, he came to America at the age of one and had resided the town of Wheatfield since. He was a charter member of the Adams Hose company. He leaves his wife, Augusta, nee Broecker; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Tomkiewics, town of Wheatfield, and Mrs. Calvin Walters of Tonawanda; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. William Martin of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Albert Broecker of Tonawanda. Rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and at the St. John's church in St. Johnsburg at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John's cemetery.

    RIETSCH – Mrs. Augusta Rietsch, 81, of 80 14th Ave., North Tonawanda, died Saturday (Aug. 2, 1958) at the home of her daughter, after an illness of several months. Born in Germany, Mrs. Rietsch had been a resident of North Tonawanda the greater part of her life. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Calvin Walters of Tonawanda, and Mrs. Leo (Hilda) Tomkiewicz of North Tonawanda, two sisters, Mrs. Fred Lavendusky of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Rose Pletcher of Lockport, a brother, William Broeker of North Tonawanda, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Rietsch was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Adams Fire Department. Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Leo Tomkiewicz, 80 14th Ave., North Tonawanda, where services will be at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Walter J. Thiemecke officiating. Burial in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

    Mrs. Wilhelmina Broecker, 73 years old, wife of the late Charles Broecker, died last night at her home, 192 Stenzel street. She was born in Germany. For the past 40 years she had been a resident of North Tonawanda. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Rietch, Mrs. Herman Engel, Mrs. Otto Schimschack, Mrs. Fred Lavendusky and Mrs. William Pletcher, all of the Tonawandas; three sons, Albert Broecker, Pendleton, and William and Gustav Broecker, North Tonawanda; 28 grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and two brothers, William Mellentine, Germany, and Albert Mellentine, Niagara Falls, N. Y. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the St. Paul's church on East Felton street, Rev. H. J. Kleiner of the Redeemer Lutheran church, Schenck street officiating.
