    Anthony J. (Tony) Minonno, passed away at the age of 74 on Wednesday, 29 September 2021 with his loving wife by his side.
    Tony was born on 08 September, 1947 to Patrick and Givonna (Jane) Gigliotti Minonno in North Tonawanda, NY. He married his High school sweetheart Darla Reitsch on 4 February 1967. He graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1965 where he was a talented multi-sport
    athlete playing football, baseball and basketball and he was voted best dancer of his class. Shortly after graduation he Volunteered to serve in the Army where he served in Germany and state side. Up on completion of his Honorable Military service, he started working in the automobile business where he quickly progressed to positions in management and then
    achieved his goals of partnering in ownership of a Car Dealership which was his passion for most of his working years.
    Tony loved playing sports and coaching hockey and he was an avid fisherman. He was a huge fan and supporter of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Tony will forever be loved and remembered for his sense of humor and way to make everyone laugh at every opportunity, compassion to help everyone around him and most of all for his love and endless commitment to his family and friends. He has left a lasting impression for
    everyone he has ever met. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and mother and father in-laws Melvin and Donna Reitsch. He is survived by His wife Darla Minonno, His sons Anthony J. and Gregory S. Minonno
    and his spouse Heather, His sister Sharon (Minonno) Sikora and Husband David. Grandchildren, Christopher, Alex, Alisa, Laura, and Chloe and Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Friends may call at Wattengel funeral Home, 533 Meadow Dr. North Tonawanda (November 13, 2021) from 1:00 to 4:00, where service will follow at 4:00.

    WHEATFIELD - Melvin J. Reitsch, 86, of Wheatfield, Sunday (June 12, 2011) at home, after a lengthy Illness. Mr. Reitsch was born in North Tonawanda on February 24, 1925 to August and Christine (McNeil) Reitsch. Melvin was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Merchant Marines. He retired from Remington Rand and later Western Block. He was a member of the UAW, Sutherland Lodge, Stephen Sikora Post #1322. Melvin is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna Rae (Rees) Reitsch; father of Darla Rae (Anthony) Minonno; brother of the late Vivian Eagan, Chet and Louie Reitsch and Ardith Lane; grandfather of Anthony (Marisa) and Gregory (Heather) Minonno; great-grandfather of Alexander, Chloe, Alisa, Laura and Christopher; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date from Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton, NY. Arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home.

Beloved wife of the late August H. Reitsch, dearest mother of Mrs. Edward (Vivian) Eagan, Chester (Catherine) Reitsch, Lewis (Helen) Rietsch, Melvin (Donna) Reitsch, and Mrs. Ardith R. Lane, all of the Tonawandas. Seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great greatgrandchild also survive. Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Creasey Memorial Chapel Inc., 138 Delaware Street, Tonawanda, where private services will take place Sunday at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Lee Ohrum will officiate. Interment in Elmlawn Cemetery.

    Funeral services for Asa E. Rees. 73, a former resident of North Tonawanda, who died Saturday night in Olean General Hospital, were conducted yesterday at Port Allegany, Pa. Mr. Rees lived in North Tonawanda for many years and was employed by Bell Aircraft and later by the International Paper Co. He is survived by his wife, the former Mertie Blakeslee; four sons, Lyle of Smethport, Pa., Wayne and Vernon of North Tonawanda, and Dana Rees of Tonawanda, and three daughters, Miss Wava Rees of Smethport and Mrs. Donna Reitsch and Mrs. Delia Kirschner of North Tonawanda

Rees, Mrs. Melvin J. (Donna) Reitsch and Mrs. Rudolph D. (Delia) Kirschner, all of North Tonawanda. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sweitzer Funeral Home in Port Allegany, Pa., where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday.
