NEWMAN - Clara Newman,
64, of 214-B Gibson St., Tona-
wanda, died Sunday (April 5,
1959) in Buffalo, after several
years illness. Born in Tonawanda,
she had been a lifelong resident
of the city. She is survived by her
husband, Herman A.;; a daughter,
Mrs. Franklin Browning; four
sons, Donald R., Robert J., Jo-
seph R. and James M., all of the
Tonawandas; fur ste-sons, Har-
old of California, George of Wakke
Island, Claude of Tonawanda and
Russell of North Tonawanda; one
sister, Mrs. Raymond Wolf of Ton-
awanda; a brother, Walter Hett-
man of California; also survived
by 26 grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren. Friends may
call at the John O. Roth Funeral
Home, ,Morgan and William Sts.,
Tonawanda, where services will
be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. The
Rev. Howard R. Dungan officiat-
ing. Burial in Resthaven Ceme-
tery.
