    brother of Mrs. E. B. (Helen) Allen
    of Kenmore, N.Y., and Mrs.
    Lydia Strickland of Orlando, Fla.;
    brother of the late Julius and Andrew
    Syposs. Friends received 2-5
    and 7-10 p.m. by the family at
    Brunner Funeral Home, 158 Robinson
    St., North Tonawanda,
    where services will be Saturday,
    Sept 21, at 11 am., the Rev. How
    trd Funk officiating. He was the
    owner of a restaurant at 70 Young
    St., Tonawanda, and operated the
    Ranch 70 in Lockport, N.Y. He
    was employed by Food Machinery
    Co. in Lakeland until retirement in
    1988.

    George Syposs. 60 years old, died
    at his home, 80 Wheatfield street,
    this morning after a brief illness
    With pneumonia. Syposs was born
    In Hungary. He had been a resident
    of North Tonawanda for the
    past thirty years. He is survived by
    his wife, three sons, Julius Syposs
    of Toledo. Adrew (sic) Syposs of Milwaukee
    and Nicholas Syposs of this
    city and two daughters. Mrs. Lydia
    Strickland of Norfolk. Va, and Miss
    Helen Syposs of this city. The funeral
    will be held Friday afternoon at
    2:30 o'clock at tbe Syposs residence

    Mrs. Mary Syposs, a former
    resident of North Tonawanda,
    died in the Central Park Clinic,
    Buffalo, yesterday. She was the
    wife of the late George G. Syposs
    and the mother of Julia, Andrew,
    Mrs, G. B. Strickland, Nicholas
    and Mrs. E. B, Allen. Rites
    will be held Thursday morning at
    9 o'clock from the Kennedy
    chapel, 1714 Abbot road, Buffalo,
    and an hour later from St Elizabeth
    church, 986 Grant street,
    Buffalo.
