    NORTH TONAWANDA — MaryAnn (nee Rakowski) McCabe, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 23, 2011, in her 76th year, while under the care of Niagara Hospice, surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy illness. MaryAnn was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and taking care of her grandchildren.

    Wife of the late Lloyd S. McCabe. Dearest mother of Michael (Javene) McCabe of Williamsville, NY, Daniel (April) McCabe of North Tonawanda, Timothy (Karen Wagner) McCabe of Wheatfield, Peggy Felger of California and the late Cynthia McCabe and Frederick (Terri) McCabe. Proud and loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on THURSDAY, July 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM for a memorial gathering at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where funeral services will be held on FRIDAY at 11 AM. Flowers graciously declined For those who wish, the family suggest memorial gifts to be made in MaryAnn’s honor to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian
    Dowser, 422 Seventh St., who died
    yesterday at Mt. St Mary's Hospital
    after a prolonged illness, will
    be held at the Tubinis Funeral
    Home Saturday at 10 a.m. with the
    Rev. Robert Bohall, of the Free
    Methodist Church, officiating. Interment
    wifi be in Oakwood cemetery.
    Born in Watertown she came to
    Niagara Falls 40 years ago. She
    was well known as a pianist and
    had played at many churches here.
    Surviving are her husband, Leslie
    Carl Dowser; two sons, Lloyd Mc-
    Cabe and William Dowser; a daughter,
    Miss Rena Dowser; her mother,
    Mrs. Rena Wainman; a sister,
    Mrs. Elizabeth Garrison, and a
    brother, William Wainman, all of
    this city.

    avenue, died yesterday after an illness
    of one year.
    Funeral services for Mr. Wainman
    will be held at Cobler's Funeral
    home at 5. p. m. tomorrow.
    The Rev. C. B. Bates, will officiate
    at.the.services.
    Mr.Wainman was born in Verona.
    Ont. He had lived in Niagara
    Falls since 1914 and was employed
    for ten years, up until the
    time of his illness, at the Certainteed
    Products company plant.
    Surviving are his wife, Rena E.;
    two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Dowser
    and Mrs. Elizabeth Schrader, and
    a son, Lloyd W. Wainman, all of
    this city; two b r o t h e r s , Richard
    Wainman, Rochester, and Walter
    Wainman, Fulton. H e is also survived
    hy 11 grandchildren.
    Burial will be in Fair Haven cemetery,
    Fair Haven,, on Monday.

    Mrs. Rena Esther Wainman,
    82, died Friday, (July 6, 1962)
    in Odd Fellows Home, Lockport.
    She had been ill for several
    years.
    Mrs. Wainman was born in
    Fulton in 1879. Her husband.
    William S. Wainman, died in
    1951. She lived in N'iagara
    Falls for several years before
    entering the Odd F e l l o ws
    Home.
    Mrs. Wainman had been a
    member of the Riverdale Re-
    bekkah Lodge No. 195 for 35
    years.
    Surviving are a daughter
    Mrs. Clarence (Elizabeth)
    Schrader, a son, Lloyd W.
    Wainman, both of this city and
    a sister, Mrs. Ralph Moak,
    Fulton.
    Also surviving are 11 grandchildren
    and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services w i l l be
    held at Cobler's F u n e r al
    Home, Sunday at 2 p.m. with
    Rev. Russell Ostrander officiating.
    Interment will be in Fair
    Haven Cemetery, Fulton.
