    GRAND ISLAND. May 4-An allwhite
    floral arrangement of snapdragons
    and gladoli, against a
    background of ferns, decorated the

    altar of Trinity church at 4 o'clock
    Saturday. May 1. when Miss Betty
    Jane Zlehm. daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Elmer Ziehm, became the bride
    of Raymond A. Yensan, son of Mr.
    Mrs. Harold A. Yensan. The
    Rev. J. Franklin Beck, pastor, per
    formed the ceremony. Mrs. Ruth
    Boettcher was soloist.
    Escorted to the altar by her
    father, the bride wore a lovely gown
    of white satin, sweetheart neckline,
    and overdress of silk lace with court
    train and finger tip Illusion veil
    She carried a large bouquet of
    white roses and sweet peas.
    Her sister, Alva was matron of
    honor. Her frock was of pink marquisette
    and she carried pink roses
    and sweet peas. Clarence O. Yensan
    was his brother's best man.
    The ushers were Arthur Webb
    and Wilfred Vant Hoff. Mrs.
    Ziehm, mother of the bride, wore,a
    gown of blue crepe and corsage of
    pink rose buds. Mrs. Harold A.
    Yensan wore a blue gown and cor-
    sage of pink rosebuds. The bride's
    table, at the Charlotte Sidway
    school, was centered with a three-
    tiered wedding cake topped with
    miniature bride and groom.
    After May 10 Mr. and Mrs. Yensan

    will be at home in their new
    house In Englewood drive. Kenmore.
    The wedding gifts were numerous
    and handsome. Staff Sgt.
    Yensan served in World War 2 in
    Africa. Italy. France and Germany.
    His decoration Includes seven battle
    stars.
    This wedding unites two of the
    oldest pioneer families on Grand
    Island.
