    N'orris - Rickert
    A very beautiful wedding was solemnized
    at 6:30 o'clock on Wednesday
    evening. June 26th, at the Zlon Lutheran
    church, when Miss Mildred Rickert,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
    Rickert of Willow avenue, became the
    bride of Milton A. Norris, Jr., son of
    Mr. and Mrs. Milton A. Norris, Sr., of
    Carroll avenue. The ceremony was performed
    by the Rev. Herman ..Brezlng.
    Mrs. William Smale sang "At Dawning"'
    and "Beloved, It Is Morn." The
    organist was Mrs. May Commerford of
    Buffalo, N. Y. The altar of the church
    was beautifully decorated with oldfashioned
    garden flowers and palms.
    The bride, given in marriage by her
    father, was lovely in a gown of cream
    satin and real lace, the skirt of which
    was graduated with flounces of lace.
    Her veil was of pointed lace and tulle
    and was caught to her head by a cap
    of pearls and orange blossoms. She
    carried a bouquet of Calla lilies, white
    roses, sweet peas, and the shower'was
    caught with pale blue flowers. The
    matron of honor, Mrs. Myrtle Hults,
    wore orchid taffeta, made on bouffant
    line with a large bow of green taffeta
    caught on the side. She carried
    a shower bouquet of yellow roses, orchid
    sweet peas. The bridesmaids, Mrs.
    Norman Engcl of Detroit, Mich., wore
    green taffeta, and Miss Beatrice Rosebrock
    of North Tonawanda, yellow taffeta,
    both made in bouffant line with
    large tulle bows on each shoulder. They
    carried arm bouquets of pink, roses,
    sweet peas, tied with large bows of ribbons
    to match their gowns. The Misses
    Catherine Rickert and Pearl Rosebrock,
    were the flower girls, and they wore
    dresses of pink and peach taffeta and
    carried baskets of flowers. Master Bll-
    11c Rickert was the ring bearer. The
    best, man was Robert F. Damon, and
    the ushers were Lewis D.Pccr and Reginald
    M. Simpson.
    Immediately following the ceremony
    a reception was held for 67 guests at
    | Hannel's. The bridal table was decorated
    with roses and centered with the
    wedding cake. Following the ceremony
    Mr. and Mrs. Norris left on a trip
    through Pennsylvania, the bride traveling
    In a peach ensemble with matching
    hat. Upon their return they will
    make their home at 1504 Thirteenth
    street.
    The out-of-town guests were: Mr. and
    Mrs. William Rosebrock, North Tonawanda.

    Norris. and Mrs. Anna Abel. Cleveland.

    Dies in Gasport
    Milton A. Norris, 83. of 621 Chilton
    avenue, a retired accountant
    here, died at the Hilltop house, Gasport,
    late yesterday after a long illness.
    Funeral services for Mr. Norris
    will be held at the Gridley Funeral
    home at 11 a. m. on Wednesday.
    The Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer, D.
    D., pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran
    church, will conduct the
    services. Burial will be in Riverdale
    cemetery.
    Mr. Norris was a member of
    Zion Evangelical Lutheran church,
    the Men's Bible class and the Brotherhood
    at that church. He belonged
    to the Milnor Masonic Lodge
    287, Pittsburgh, Pa., and the Niagara
    Commandery 64, Knights
    Templar, here. He was a thirtysecond
    degree Mason.
    .Born in Pittsburgh. Mr. Norris
    had lived in Niagara Falls for the
    last 30 years.
    Surviving are his wife. Mary A.;
    two sons, Milton A. Norris. Jr.,
    this city, and Frederick H. Norris.
    Wilmington. Del.; a daughter. Miss
    Louise B. Norris, this city, and four
    grandchildren.
