GOLDEN WEDDING - Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Zimmerman celebrate 50 years of marriage today.
An open house has been planned by their children
at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lewiston, from 2
p.m. until 4 p.m. The couple was married Nov. 24,
1921 in New Dundee, Ontario and reside at 933
Creek Road Ext., Lewiston. They have two
children, Arthur Zimmerman Jr., California, and
Mrs. Alice Lewis, Nashua, N.H., and eight grandchildren.
Mr. Zimmerman was an employe of
Carborundum, Globar Div., until his retirement.

The will of John Zimmerman late
of the town of Wheatfield, was filed
for probate, with Surrogate Norman D.
Fish at lockport yesterday afternoon.
The widow, Mrs. Helen Zimmerman
is named is executor of the estate.
she is given life use of her husband's
property. The estate consists.of upwards
of $600 in personal property and
$4,000 in real estate. These children
will share equal in the estate at the
death of the widow: Helen, Lydla, Edward,
John P., Arthur and Rudolph

BERGHOLTZ. N. Y.-Mrs. Helen
Zimmerman, 70 years old, one of the
best known and most highly respected
residents of this community,
died yesterday afternoon at the
family home. Niagara road, after
a period of ill health extending over
a year.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born in
Bergholtz. a daughter of the late
John and Wilhelmina Walck, and
had resided here alf her life. She
was a member of St. James Lutheran
church and until ill health
prevented was active In the Ladies'
Aid society and other church organizations.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
from the family home to St.
James' Lutheran church, where services
will be held at 3 o'clock. The
Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate. Interment
will be in St. James' cemetery.
Mrs. Zimmerman Is survived by
two daughters and four sons, Edward,
John and Rudolph, of Bergholtz,
Arthur and Lydta. of Niagara
Falls, and Helen, of Fort Lauderdale,
Florida; two nieces, Alice and
Jean; one nephew, Arthur Zimmerman.
Jr.. of California, and four
sisters, Mrs. Albertine Mueller and
Mrs. Edward Blumreich. of Niagara
Falls, Mrs. Fred Pfuhl. of Walmore,
N. Y.. and Mrs. Albert DeVantier, of
Bergholta.
