John Albert Zimmerman, 65, died last night in a Buffalo nursing home. Mr. Zimmerman was born in the Town of Wheatfield and had
lived in North Tonawanda for the past 60 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Layman's League. He is survived by his wife, Marie,
nee Bremer; five sons, Alfred, Clarence, Wallace and John Jr., of North Tonawanda and Norman of Denver; one stepson, Douglas
Hartman of North Tonawanda; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Ralph Belling of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Albert Mueller and Mrs. Howard
Schmidt of Bergholz; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Otto Zimmerman of North Tonawanda and a sister, Mrs. Herman Stadler,
Tonawanda. Funeral services will be in the family residence, 1328 Belling Place, at 2 P.M. Monday, and in St. Paul's Lutheran Church at
2:30 P.M. The Rev Frederick A. Hinners will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery

NORTH TONAWANDA. Jan. 20.-
Mrs. Augusta Zimmerman, 45 years
old. wife of John Zimmerman, died
early Thursday morning, following
the birth ot a son. She was the lifelong
resident of North Tonawanda.
She died at her home on Belling
Place.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Zimmerman
is survived by five sons: Alfred,
Clarence, Wallace. John and
Norman Zimmerman; a mother, Mrs.
Augusta Sattelberg; six brothers,
Gustav, Alfred. Gottlieb. George, Herman
and John Sattelberg all of North
Tonawanda, and three sisters, Mrs.
Rudolph E. Ewald of Unlonville,
Mich, Mrs Henry Heuer of Bergholz
and Mrs. Hubert Goerss of
North Tonawanda.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon
at 2 o'clock at the residence
and half an hour later at the St.
Paul's Lutheran church, Rev. A. F.
Winners officiating. Burial will be
in the S t Paul's cemetery.

yeafs. Husband of the late
Martha (nee Guilyard) Barber
and brother of the late
Catharine Guido. A retired
employe of the Buffalo Steel
Corp., he was a member of the
Grand Order of the Sons of
Italy, Lodge No. 188, DuBois.
He is survived by two sons,
Fred (Bessie) Barber of North
Tonawanda, Louis Barber at
home; four daughters, Mrs.
Theodore (Christine) Cicero of
Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs. John
(Elizabeth) Zimmerman, Mrs.
Gerald (Margaret) Perry and
Mrs. Dominic (Nellie) DeMart;
all of North Tonawanda; 14
grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren;
one brother,
Carmen Barber of Rochester,
N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. Mary
Pease of Buffalo; several nieces
and nephews also survive.
Services will be conducted
Thursday, March 11, at 9 a.m.
from the Pawenski Funeral
Home, 652 Oliver St. (corner
Fifth Ave.), North Tonawanda,
and at 9:30 a.m. from Ascension
Church. Interment in Mt. Olivet
Cemetery. Family will receive

Mrs. Marie Zimmerman, 73 years old,
died yesterday at the home of her
son, John Zimmerman, Belling Place,
after a long illness. She was born In
Germany and had lived In North
Tonawanda 50 years. She Is survived
by a daughter, Mrs. Herman Stadler;
three sons, John, William and Otto;
twenty grandchildren and two brothers.
Otto and Ernest Karre, all of the
Tonawandas.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock
Friday at the home, and half an hour
later at St. Mark's church.
