    -Kenneth Pletcher, son of
    Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Ensminger
    of 247 Zimmerman boulevard,
    Kenmore, started the
    New Year right with a promotion
    to Corporal, dated
    Jan. 1. His wife is the former
    Leona Zimmerman of Morgan
    street, Tona. Cpl. Pletcher entered
    the service in August,
    1942. He received his basic
    training in the Medical Corps
    at Camp Pickett, Va., and is
    now stationed at Columbia,
    S. C. He has two brothers in
    the service, Robert Ensminger
    stationed In California and
    Floyd stationed In N o r th
    Dakota.

    Pletcher, Jr., and three
    grandchildren, Kevin,
    Kathleen and Daniel Pletcher,
    all of North Tonawanda;
    two brothers,
    Floyd (Dorothy) Ensminger
    of the Town of
    Tonawanda and Jack
    Pletcher of North Tonawanda
    and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Friends may call Friday
    evening from 7 to 9 and
    Saturday and Sunday from
    2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at
    John O. Roth Funeral
    Home, Morgan and
    William Sts., Tonawanda
    where services will be
    private and at the convenience
    of the family. Burial
    will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.

    Zimmerman, 76, of 449 Morgan
    St., an Army veteran of World
    War I, died unexpectedly
    Thursday (March 2, 1972) at

    A resident of this city for 53
    years, he was employed by the
    former. Buffalo Bolt Co. for 45
    years, retiring in 1958.
    He was a member of Salem
    United Church of Christ and a
    past vice commander_of

    American Legion.
    He is survived by his widow,
    Anna; a son, Richard O.
    Zimmerman of Kenmore; 'two
    daughters, Mrs. Kenneth

    Mr. and Mrs. Otto Zimmerman,
    449 Morgan St., Tonawanda,
    will celebrate their
    golden anniversary Saturday.
    Mr. Zimmerman, 73, and his
    wife, the former Ann Radtke,
    70, were married July 8, 1919 in
    the home of Mrs. Zimmerman's
    parents by the late Rev.
    Andrew Hils, then pastor of
    Salem Evangelical and
    Reformed Church of which they
    have been lifelong members.
    The couple will be honored by

    their children at a family dinner
    in the home of their daughter
    and son-in-law, Mrs. Ronald
    (Marion) Lum and Mr. Lum, of
    1286 Moll St., North Tonawanda.
    . The couple's other children are
    Richard Zimmerman of
    Kenmore, and Mrs. Kenneth.
    (Leona) Pletcher of Tonawanda.
    They have five grandchildren:
    Diana. Ralph and

    Dawn Zimmerman; Kenneth
    Pletcher Jr. and Gregory Lum;
    and one great-grandchild, Kevin
    Pletcher.
    Mr. Zimmerman was employed
    44 years at Buffalo Bolt
    Co., where he was a machine
    shop foreman. He has been a
    member of American Legion
    Post 264 for 35 years
