he was the brother of the
late John, Joseph and Martin Zipp.
An Army veteran of World War II,
he was a life member of Delaware
Hose Co., a member of the Tonawanda
Exempt Volunteer

264, American Legion, Tonawanda
Senior Citizens, the Salvation Army
Golden Agers, Plumbers Local No.
36 and the AARP Niagara Frontier
Chapter 3526.
He is survived by his wife, Anna
(nee Rebmann) Zipp; a son, Paul M.
Zipp and a daughter, Marianne E.
Zipp, all of Tonawanda; two sisters,
Mrs. Anna Thieboldt of Tonawanda
and Mrs. Marmon (Katherine)
Tower of the Town of Cambria; two
brothers, Fred (Helen) Zipp of
North Tonawanda and Anthony
(Florence) Zipp of Tonawanda and
many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday evening
from 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m., at John 0. Roth funeral
Home, Inc., Morgan and William
Sts., Tonawanda where services will
be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday
by the Rev. Ronald R. Keaton.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the Salvation Army, Tonawanda
Corps or the American
Cancer Society.

The marriage of Miss Anna
Jewel Rebmann, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Rebmann of Adam
street to Mr. Paul Zipp, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Martin Zipp of Young
street was solemnized Saturday
morning, September 26, at 11:30
o'clock in St. Francis rectory, the
Rev. J. Edwin Speidel officiating.
The bride wore a gown of white
satin and lace, with a finger tip
veil of illusion, and carried a col-
onial bouquet of white carnations.
Mrs. LeVant Selover, sister of the
bride was matron of honor wear-
ing peach brocaded taffeta, and
Miss Ruth Rebmann, another sister
was bridesmaid, wearing powder
blue crepe. Each caried a colonial
bouquet.
Mr. Fred Zipp, brother of the
groom, was best man, and Mr.
Roland Dominske acted as usher.
Following the ceremony a wed-
ding breakfast was given in the
blue room of the Katherine Law-
rence Tea Room, Buffalo, and lat-
er a large reception was held in
the V.F.W. hall, Robinson street.
Mr. and Mrs. Zipp are making
their home in Broad street.
