ZUCH - Mrs. Amanda Zuch,
80, of 188 Fredericks St, North
Tonawanda. died Sunday (Sept
24. 1967) in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital after a long Illness.
Mrs. Zuch was a lifelong resident
of North Tonawanda, a
member of S t Matthew Evangelteal
Lutheran Church and of its
Ladies Guild. She was the wife
of the late Gustav C Zuch who
died in September 1965. Surviving
are a son, Irvin G. Zuch of
North Tonawanda, six grandchildren,
and a sister, Mrs. Edwin
(Alma) Sahr, of North Tonawance,
Friends mey call at Fretthold
Funeral Home, 1261 Oliver St. at
Ward Road, where services will
be at 2 p.m, Wednesday. The
Rev, A. W. Moldenhauer will officiate.
Interment in St. Matthew's
Lutheran Cemetery. In
lieu Of flowers, memorials may
ho made to St Matthew's Lu-
theran Church or school.

Mr. and Mrs. Gustav C.
Zuch, 188 Fredericka St.,
celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary at a din-
ner Friday evening in St.
Matthews Lutheran Parish
Hall.
A reception followed at the
home of their son and daughter-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin G.
Zuch of 52 Brundage Ave.
Three of the original bridal par-
ty were in attendance, Mrs. Ed-
win Sahr, maid-of-honor and sister
of the bride, Frnak Meyers, best
man and Mrs. Agnes Wilke,
bridesmaid, all of this city.
Mr. and Mrs. Zuch received
their guests in the parish hall.
Mrs. Zuch wore a blue and white
print chiffon dress. She wore a corsage
of yellow and white rosebuds
and a crystal necklace and earrings,
a gift to her from her husband.
Both the groom and the bride,
the former Miss Amanda Wilke,
were born in this city. They were
married April 28,1909 by the Rev.
Phillip Laux, pastor of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church, Old Falls Blvd.
They are the parents of a son,
Irvin G. and have five grandchil-
dren. They are Terry, Susan, Jud
ith. Melissa and Timothy.
Mr. and Mrs. Zuch have been
active members of St. Matthew
Lutheran Church. Mr. Zuch retired
in 1958 after being employed at the
Buffalo Bolt Co. for 22 years. Previously
he had worked for the
King Construction Co. for 28 years.
