    The marriage of Miss Marie Ruth Niese, daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Niese of 44 Washington street, North
    Tonawanda, and Mr. Howard Zuch. son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
    Zuch of Meyer road, North Tonawanda. was solemnzed
    on September 20, at 4:30 p.m. in St. Mark's Evangelical
    Lutheran Church, Oliver street. The Rev. Paul Fretthold
    officiated at the double ring ceremony.
    The bride's gown of white satin,
    was fashioned
    with long sleeves
    ending in points over the hands
    and a fitted bodice with a full
    skirt. Satin braiding outlined the
    sweetheart neckline, waistline and
    the hem of her skirt. Her finger
    tip veil of French Illusion fell
    from a crown of delicate net and
    baby breath. She wore a single-
    strand pearl necklace, gift of the
    gridegroom, and carried an arm
    bouquet of white roses and baby
    breath.
    Miss Loraine Niese, sister of the
    bride, as her only attendant, was
    gowned in aqua-marine brocaded
    satin, with sweetheart neckline,

    cap sleeves, full skirt and matching
    mitts. Her headpiece was
    fashioned after the bride's and she
    carried an arm bouquet of yellow
    roses and baby breath.
    Earl Zuch, brother of the groom
    attended the bridegroom as best
    man.
    The bride's mother wore a pale
    blue crepe dress with black accessories.
    The bridegroom's mother
    chose a black chiffon dress and
    black accessories. Both wore corsages
    of pink roses and pompoms.
    A dinner was served in the Delaware
    Hotel for the bridal party
    and the immediate families. In
    the evening a reception was held
    at the Gratwick Hose Company
    for about 200 guests.
    Mr. and Mrs. Zuch spent their
    honeymoon at Watkins Glen, N.
    Y. For traveling, the bride wore
    a dark brown gabardine suit with
    pale blue accessories.
    They will make their home at
    59 Mullen street, Tonawanda.
    Pre-nuptial showers were given
    by Mrs. William J. Niese, Sr.,
    Mrs. William J. Niese, Jr., Mrs.
    Henry Riemer and Mrs. Harvey
    Grobe; Mrs. Benjamin Zuch and

    late Benjamin E. Zuch.

    (Shirley) Zuch, Howard
    (Marie) Zuch, Mrs. Clyde
    (Evelyn) Martin,
    Raymond (Norene) Zuch,
    Miss Aldine Zuch, Elton
    (Barbara) Zuch, all of
    this area, Robert (Irene)
    Zuch of Franklinville and
    the late Edna Zuch, also
    survived by 17 grand-
    children; one great-
    grandchild and several
    nieces and nephews.

    Memorial Chapel, Inc.,

    Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin E.
    Zuch of 124 Payne Ave., North
    Tonawanda, who were married
    SO years ago today, will be honored
    at a reception Saturday in
    the Rescue Fire Hall.
    Hosts for the party will be
    their sons, Earl, Howard, Raymond,
    Elton and Robert, and
    their daughters, Mrs. Clyde
    (Evelyn) Martin and Miss Al-
    dine Zuch. They also are the
    parents of the late Edna Zuch.
    They have 10 grandsons and two
    granddaughters.
    The couple was marrried in
    Pendleton, Oct. 12, 1916 and
    have lived in the Tonawanda
    area all their married life.
    Mrs. Zuch, the former Esthr
    Kaufman, was raised in Clar-
    ence. Mr. Zuch retired in 1957
    after employment 28 years at Co-
    lumbus McKinnon Co.

    i n g illness. He was. t a k e n to the
    s a n i t a r i um two weeks ago. Mr.
    Kaufman was born in Cleveland.
    He resided in Clarence. N. Y. the
    g r e a t e r part of his life. F or the
    past 16 y e a r s he lived, with his
    d a u g h t e r at Beach Ridge. Two
    d a u g h t e r s . Mrs. Zuch and Mrs.
    William F. Wurl, 1778 R u i e road,
    seven grand children, four broth-
    e r s , August. North Evans; Ed-
    ward and F r e d , Eden, and Julius,
    Buffalo, and two s i s t e r s , Mrs
    J. Hartley. Cleveland, and Mrs.
    L o u i s a Mellington, Knoxville,
    Tenn., survive The funeral will
    be held Friday afternoon at 2
    o clock from the Wurl residence.
    Rev. F, A. H i n n e r s will conduct

    be in the Fillmore cemetery at
    Clarence.
