NORTH TONAWANDA — Carol A. (nee Krull) Cramer, age 70, of North Tonawanda, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Cramer was born in the Town of Cambria, December 28, 1940, daughter of the late Wilbur and Florence Krull.

Mrs. Cramer graduated from Starpoint High School. Carol's greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Cramer is predeceased by her husband, Dale Cramer, who passed away in 2009. Beloved mother of Julie (Frank) Wendt, Dale (Leona) Cramer, Jr., and Eric Cramer; grandmother of five and great-grandmother of thirteen; also survived by two brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Private Graveside Services will be held in Acacia Park Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to The American Diabetes or American Kidney Foundations.

Florence H. Krull, a past president and member of ladies auxiliaries of several volunteer firefighter organizations, died Saturday (Sept. 6, 1997) in her granddaughter's Newfane home while under the care of Niagara Hospice.
The former Florence Doel, a Niagara Falls native, graduated from LaSalle High School and Trott Vocational School, both in Niagara Falls.
Mrs. Krull, 79, lived on Witmer Road, North Tonawanda, was where she was member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
She was president of the Niagara County Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary from 1975 to 1977, a life member and past president of the Shawnee Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the New York State Volunteer Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed antiques and doll collecting.
Her husband, Wilbert H., died in 1971.
Survivors include two sons, William and Robert, both of Lockport; two daughters, Arlene Mante of Wheatfield and Carol Cramer of North Tonawanda; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Drive, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.

ROCKWOOD – Wanda Krull Rockwood, 1223 88th St., Niagara Falls, died Tuesday (Feb. 15, 1966) at Doctors Hospital, Town of Tonawanda. Widow of Charles Rockwood; mother of Mrs. George (Loretta) Heiman and Edward Krull of Niagara Falls, and Wilbert and Elwood Krull Sanborn, N.Y.; sister of Mrs. Amos (Louise) Haseley, Mrs. Anna (Fess) Goodrich and Mrs. Leona Tonner, all of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Phillip LaMantia of Miami, Fla., and Frederick Mehls Webber of West Seneca. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pike & Jones Funeral Home, Inc., 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. The Rev. Albert Bahr will officiate. Interment in St. Andrews, Pekin, N. Y. If desired, contributions may be made to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church building fund or the American Cancer Society.
