    Zuch, 69, of the Town of
    Wheatfield, Thursday
    (Jan. 6, 1977) at DeGraff
    Memorial Hospital after
    a lengthy illness. Mrs.
    Zuch was a member of
    A b i d i n g Saviour
    Lutheran Church.
    She is survived by two
    sons, Vernon D. and Alan
    W. Zuch, both of North
    Tonawanda; a daughter.
    Mrs. Kathleen Latka of
    North Tonawanda; nine
    grandchildren; and a
    sister, Mrs. Elsie Urtel of
    the Town of Wheatfield.
    The family will receive
    friends at the Fretthold
    Funeral Home, Inc., 1241
    Oliver St., at Ward Rd .
    North Tonawanda today
    from 7 to 9 p.m., and
    Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
    p.m. Services will be held
    at the funeral home
    Sunday at 2 p.m., the
    Rev. Donald G. Rehkopf
    officiating. Interment in
    St. Paul Lutheran
    Cemetery. If so desired,
    memorials may be made
    to the abiding Saviour
    Lutheran Church
    Memorial Fund.

    BERGHOLTZ. April 14-The mar-
    riage of Miss Esther Ostwald, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ostwald,
    of this village, to William Zuch, of
    Martinsville, will be solemnized In
    the Holy Ghost Lutheran church on
    Saturday afternoon, April 18, at 3
    o'clock.

    BERGHOLTZ. April 21.-One of
    th« prettiest weddings held this season
    was the marriage of Miss Esther
    Ostwald, youngest daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Ernest Ostwald, of this vll-
    lage, to William Zuch, of Martinsville.
    The ceremony took place Saturday
    afternoon at 3 o'clock In the Holy
    Ghost Lutheran church, the Rev. J.
    Kuchenbecker officiating.
    To the strains of Lehengrin's wed-
    ding march, played by Hugo Gade,
    organist, the bridal party entered the
    church, which was filled to capacity.
    The church was artistically decorated
    with numerous baskets of pink and
    white roses, Easter lilies, ferns, yellow
    daffodils and many other flowers now
    in season.
    The bride looked beautiful in a
    tight fitted white satin gown, fash
    ioned with a Calla lily train and had
    several rows of tiny buttons of same
    material in fron tand one row of same
    trimming in the back from neck to
    her waist line. It had long sleeves,
    high neck and was floor length. Her
    long silk tulle veil, which was trim-
    med on either side with wide silk
    Chantilly lace, and was cap shape,
    Venetian style, was trimmed with
    rows of pearls. She carried a large
    old fashioned bouquet of white bridal
    roses, white sweet peas and smilax.
    The maid of honor, Miss Gladys
    Urtel, niece of the bride, looked
    sharming in a tight fitting floor
    length yellow taffeta gown. She car-
    ried an old fashioned bouquet of yel-
    low roses, yellow Shasta daisies and
    smilax.
    The bridesmaids were Miss Irene
    Urtel, niece of the bride, Miss Mil-
    dred Wurl and Jane Ludwig and A.
    Ludwig.
    Miss Urtel and Miss Wurl looked
    lovely in pale blue tight fitting floor
    length taffeta gowns. Jane and a.
    Ludwig, wore becoming peach color
    tight-fitting floor length taffeta gowns.
    They all carried shower bouquets of
    pale pink roses and sweet peas and
    smilax.
    The little flower girl was Lois Zlehl.
    She looked sweet in a pale peach
    color silk crepe Shirley Temple dress.
    She carried a small decorated basket
    with pink and white roses.
    The groom, who was assisted by
    Bruno Schultz, came from the sacristy
    and met the bride at the altar. The
    ushers were Arthur Stange and Ger-
    hard Zuch.
    The members of the Walther Lea-
    gue, of which the bride was a mem-
    ber, sang a sacred number with Mr.
    Gade at the organ, just before the
    ceremony. The double ring service
    was used. Benediction followed the
    marriage ceremony.
    Mrs. Ostwald, mother of the bride,
    wore a handsome gown of brown fig-
    ured crepe and Mrs. Zuch, mother
    of the groom, wore a becoming gown
    of black silk crepe. Mrs. Walter Urtel,
    matron of honor, and sister of the
    bride, chose a stunning gown of blue
    figured silk crepe.
    After the service a reception fol-
    lowed at the home of the bride for
    over 140 guests. The bride's table
    was centered with a large tiered wed-
    ding cake, handsomely decorated, and
    the bride's bouquet, and was set for
    about 30 guests. A delicious chicken
    dinner was served.
    After a short wedding trip, Mr. and
    Mrs. Zuch will reside in Martinsville
    in Mr. Zuch's residence. The bride
    and groom received many beautifu
    and useful gifts. A number of pre-
    nuptial affairs were given in their
    honor.

    BERGHOLZ. Oct. 24 - Ernest Ostwald, 80, a life long resident of the Town of Wheatfield died yesterday at his home Luther street. Mr Ostwald was a blacksmith by trade, retiring five years ago. He is survived by his wife, Martha Stange Ostwald; a son. Edward, St. Johnsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Urtel and Mrs. William Zuch, both of Bergholz; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the home and at 2:30 at Holy Ghost church.
    The Rev. Victor Dahlke will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Ghost cemetery.

    LOCKPORT - A one-time
    farmer and retired watchman
    at Loekport Mills Inc., Walter
    M. Schultz, 82, of 9 Adam St.,
    suffered a fatal heart attack
    today (Aug. 26, 1961) at his
    home.
    The first aid squad of the
    Fire Department was summoned
    about 1 a.m. and administered
    Inhalator treatment
    for 45 minutes but was
    unable to revive Mr. Schultz.
    Born in Cambria, Sept. 8,
    1878, Mr. Schultz was the son
    of the late William and Mary
    Cloy Schultz. He farmed for
    many years in the Ransomville
    area before coming to
    Loekport 17 years ago. He retird
    from Loekport Mills in
    1956.
    Survivors i n c l u d e his
    widow, the former Florence M.
    Flynn; four daughters, Miss
    Violet Schultz and Mrs. Donald
    Wilson, both of Ransomvill;
    Mrs. Fred Ingram, Lockport,
    and Mrs. Cletius Rothrock,
    North Tonawanda; two
    sons, Walter and F r a nk
    Schultz, both of Ransomville;
    a brother, Herman Schultz,
    Newfane; 11 grandchildren
    and 5 great grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Gaul
    Funeral Home by Rev. Ivan
    Lange. Burial will be in
    North Ridge Cemetery.
