    Edward J. Reichert, Esq., 99, of Gorham, died August 20, 2017. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 18, 1918 the son of George J. and Julia (Whitney) Reichert and lived in the Gorham area most of his life. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and practiced law in the area for many years. He was a member of the NH Bar Association, was a Director and Officer of the Mt. Washington Stage Company, was a member of the Gorham-Sabatis Lodge # 73 F & AM and the Dupont-Holmes Post #82 American Legion. 

    Family includes his son James Reichert and wife Linda of Gorham; grandchildren Tobey Reichert and wife Danielle of Gorham, Angie Lewis and husband Kurt of Florida and great grandchildren Camden Reichert of Gorham and Trista and Blaklee Lewis of Florida. 

    A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 6 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham. There will be no calling hours. Private interment will be held in the Evans Cemetery in Gorham, NH. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.

    N. H., announce the marriage
    of their daughter, Marlon, to Lieutenant
    Edward J. Reichert, U. S.
    N. R., son of Mrs. George J. Reichert,
    of Cayuga drive, this city.
    The wedding took place Monday,
    December 20, in Madison, N. J., at
    the home of Mr. and Mrs. Burr
    Chase, former resident of this city
    and uncle and aunt of the bridegroom.
    Mrs. Joseph Trask, sister of the
    bride, of New York City, was her
    only attendant and Mr. Chase was
    the best man.
    Lieutenant and Mrs. Reichert
    will reside for the present In Park
    Chester, N. Y.

    George J. Reichert, a native of
    North Tonawanda and a resident of
    818 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls,
    died last night in Memorial hospital,
    that city.
    He was bom here 47 years ago,
    but went to Niagara Falls in his
    early childhood to live. Educated
    in the public schools of that city
    he entered the employ of the
    Niagara Falls Gazette. Later he
    became an employe of the Niagara
    Falls Electric Light & Power
    company. At the time of his death
    he was district manager of the
    Buffalo Niagara Electric corporation.
    Mr. Reichert was a member of
    the Niagara Club, the Niagara Falls
    Country club and St. Stephen's
    Episcopal church.
    Surviving are his wife, who was
    Julia Whitney, and whom he married
    in October, 1913; two sons,
    Edward and John and a daughter,
    Helen Louise, and his parents,
    Mr. and Mrs. C. F. M. Reichert,
    686 Chilton avenue, Niagara Falls.
    Mr. C. F. M. Reichert was formerly
    a North Tonawanda meat
    dealer.

    George married WHITNEY, Julia in Oct 1913. Julia (daughter of WHITNEY, John and JOSEPHINE) was born on 25 May 1888 in Brockport, Monroe County, NY; died on 8 Apr 1972 in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    LEWISTON - Mrs. Julia
    Whitney Reichert, 83, of 225
    North Second St., a former
    Lewiston librarian for 10 years,
    died Saturday (April 8,1972) in
    Memorial Medical Center
    where she had been a patient
    for two weeks.
    She was born in Brockport,
    the daughter of John and
    Josephine Whitney, and lived
    in this village for 13 years.
    Before that, she lived in
    Niagara Falls.
    She was the widow of George
    J. Reichert, an executive with
    the Niagara Mohawk Power
    Corp.
    She was a member of the
    Niagara Falls Garden Club,
    and member and past regent of
    the Niagara Falls Chapter of
    the GAR, Niagara Falls
    Council of Girls Scouts, the
    Lewiston Study Club, the
    Lewiston Historical Society,
    and St. Paul's Episcopal
    Church.
    She is survived by a
    daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Helen)
    Chadwick'of this village; two
    sons, John Reichert of
    Youngstown, and Edward J.
    Reichert of Gorham, N.H. and
    seven grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's
    Episcopal Church with the
    Rev. Richard Norris officiating.
    Burial will be in
    Riverdale Cemetery.
