    The marriage of Miss Lucille
    A. Thiebolt, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Philip Thiebolt ol 28 Benton
    street, to Mr. Sylvester N.
    Lesmeister was solemnized on Saturday
    morning, February 15 at
    10 o'clock in St. Francis church,
    the Very Rev. John A. Weismantel
    performing the ceremony.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a gown of
    white bridal satin, made princess
    style, and her finger tip veil of
    illusion fell from a halo of orange
    blossoms. Her shower bouquet
    was of tea roses and sweetpeas.
    Miss Florence Schultz was the
    bridesmaid, wearing pink mousseline
    de soie with a headdress of
    matching flowers, and Mr. George
    Lesmeister, brother of the groom,
    was best man.
    The bride's mother wore a pink
    crepe gown with a matching hat
    and a corsage.
    Following the ceremony a wedding
    breakfast was given at the
    Eagles' hall which was beautifully
    decorated in pink and white, and
    later a large reception was given
    with an orchestra providing music
    for dancing. The bride's table
    was centered with a large wedding
    cake and further adorned with
    flowers and candles.
    Among the guests present from
    out of town were Mr. and Mrs.
    Raymond Whitmer and Mr. Charles
    Wright of Emporium, Pa.;
    Mr. Henry Lesmeister of Byrnedale,
    Pa., and friends from surrounding
    towns.
    Among those who entertained
    at prenuptial parties in the bride's
    honor were her mother and her
    sister, Mrs. Harold Smith, Mrs.
    Henry Mowitz, Mrs. Dewey Montgomery.
    Mr. and Mrs. Lesmeister have
    gone on a short wedding trip and
    upon their return will reside in
    452 Oliver street.

    THIEBOLT - Philip (Phoenix)
    Thiebolt, 70, of 204 - C Gibson St.,
    Tonawanda, died Monday afternoon
    (Jan. 16, 1961) in Buffalo
    General Hospital after a. brief illness.
    A native of Tonawanda, Mr.
    Thiebolt had been employed by
    Continental Can Co., Robert Gair
    Division for 49 years, retiring
    three years ago. He was a World
    War I veterna and a member of
    St. Francis of Assisi Church. He
    was director and life member of
    the Eldredge Bicycle Club; a 47-: Sixteen have been selected to
    year member of the Niagara Hose' serve on Supreme Court, juries.
    Company; a member of Tona-
    wanda Exempt Volunteer Firemen's
    Association; Aerie' 1411,
    FOE; Post 264, American Legion;
    Kenton Barracks 887, Veterans
    of World War I, and the
    "Eldredge Last Man's Club. Sur-
    vivora include his wife, Chris-
    tine (nee Garlock); two daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Robert Neuman and
    Mrs. Sylvester Lesmeister, both
    of Tonawanda; two sisters, the
    Misses Mary and Kathleen Thie-
    bolt, both of Tonawand, and
    four brothers, Frank, Leonard
    and William of Tonawanda and
    James Thiebolt of Buffalo. Also
    survivied by eight grandchildren.
    Friends may call at John O. Roth
    Funeral Home, Morgan and Wil-
    liam Streets, Tonawanda, where
    prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m.
    Thursday, followed by a Mass of
    Requiem in St. Francis of Assisi
    Church at 11 a.m., the Rev. Wil-
    bur Yaeger officiating. Burial in
    Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

    A very pretty wedding was solemniced
    Tuesday morning. November 23,
    at ten o'clock at St. Mary'a church.
    Swormsville, when Miss Christine H.
    Garlock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    George Garlock was united in marriage
    to Mr. Philip M. Thiebolt of
    Tonawanda, Rev. Father Dehlinger officiating.
    The bride was charming in
    White charmeu.se with an overdress
    of georgette crepe trimmed with
    pearls, her tulle veil being caught up
    with a wreath of orange blossoms.
    She caroled a shower bouquet of bride
    roses and dew drops. Miss Cecilia Garlock,
    sister of the bride, who was maid
    of honor, wore pale blue crepe-dechine
    with "shadow lace, and carried
    pink chrysanthemums. The brides
    maid was Miss Cathleen Thiebolt, sis
    ter of the grdom, and she wore yellow
    chrysanthemums. The groom's
    brother, Mr. William Thiebolt. was
    the best man and Mr. Henry Metz acted
    as usher.
    A reception for about one hundred
    relatives and friends was held at the
    home of the bride, eighteen covers being
    laid at the bride's table, which
    was centered with a wedding cake
    The house decorations were in pink
    and white. Music was furnished by the
    Eldiidge quartette, Mr. Ralph Gagnon
    at the piano. Dancing was the feature
    of the evening. After a short weddiner
    trip, Mr. and Mrs. Thibolt will be at
    home in 240- Broad street.
    The out of town guests included Mr
    and Mrs. Philip Thiebolt, Sr., and
    family, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Garlock
    Mr. and Mrs. Fred Garlock and family
    and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Metz of
    Tonawanda, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
    Garlock and the Misses Elizabeth and
    Mildred Lamm of Buffalo.

    TONAWANDA. March 26.Mrs.
    Mary Thiebolt, 67 years old, died
    terday at her home. 582 Broad St.
    She was born in Ireland. When she was
    two years old she came to the Tona-
    wandas and lived here the rest of her
    life. She Is survived by a husband,
    Philip, two daughters. Cathleen and
    Mary; five sons, Philip. Leon and Wil-
    liam, Tonawanda: James of Chicago
    and Frank. Milwaukee, and two grand-
    children. The funeral will be held
    day morning at 8:30 o'clock at
    home, and at 9 o'clock at the St Francis
    cis church.
