    WILSON — Services will be
    held at 2 p.m. Tuesday for
    Fred Thilk, 87, of 245 Lake St.,
    this community, who died Satu
    r d a y (April 25, 1964) at home
    after a long illness.
    Mr. Thilk had been a farmer
    in Chestnut Street until his
    retirements 17 years ago. He
    was born Jan. 8, 1877, in the
    Town of Lockport, the son of
    Joseph and Nina World Thilk.
    His wife, Jennie M. Woodcock
    Thilk, died in 1957.
    Surviving are two sons, Norman
    J. Thilk. this community;
    Ransom D. Thilk, Buffalo; two
    brothers, Herman Thilk. this
    community, and Frank Thilk
    Lockport; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd
    Washburn, Lockport; and two
    grandchildren.
    The family will be present
    from 2-4 and 7-9 at the
    Hamilton and Clark Funeral
    Chapel where services will be
    conducted by Rev. Ernest
    Kerrison of the Exley Method-
    ist Church. Burial will be in
    North Ridge Cemetery.

    WILSON - Mrs. Jennie May
    Thilk, 79, wife of Fred Thilk, Lake
    Ave., died Wednesday afternoon
    (Sept. 25, 1957) at the home of
    Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Hausman,
    Shudigee Rd., where she' had been
    taken for care last spring after a
    two-year illness became more severe.
    Born Aug. 22, 1878, in the Town
    of Wilson, Mrs. Thilk was the
    daughter of the late Daniel C. and
    Mary Powers Woodcock. After
    their marriage, more than 50 years
    ago, the couple resided in Chestnut
    road, East Wilson, until about five
    years ago when Mr. Thily retired
    from farming. Prior to her marriage,
    her family had resided in
    Shadigee road and Chestnut road.
    In addition to her husband, Mrs.
    Thilk is surveyed by two sons, Norman
    Thilk, Wilson, and Ransom
    Thilk, Buffalo, and two grandchildren,
    Mrs. Thilk was a former member
    of Immaculate Conception
    Church, North Ridge, before moving
    to this village, when she became
    a member of Our Lady of the
    iiosary Church.
    The Rev. Christopher Roche will
    offer a Requiem Mass at 10 a.m.
    Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary
    Church. Burial will be in North
    Ridge Cemetery. The body is at
    the Hamilton and Clarlie Funeral
    Home.:

    EAST WILSON. N. Y.-Daniel C.
    Woodcock, 88, of Chestnut street,
    retired farm machinery dealer and
    blacksmith, died last evening at the
    Lockport City hospital, where he
    had been confined since Saturday.
    He suffered a stroke at his home
    early Saturday morning.
    '. Mr; Woodcock is survived by his
    wife, Mrs, Mary Woodcock; one
    daughter, Mrs. Fred Thllk, of Chestnut
    street; three grandchildren,
    Kenmore Thllk, of Niagara Falls, N.
    Y., Norman Thllk, of Wilson, N. Y ,
    and Lieutenant Ransom Thllk, with
    the armed forces in Louisiana, and
    one great grandchild."
    Funeral services will be held tomorrow
    afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at
    the Hamilton and Clark undertaking
    establishment at Wilson, N.Y. 'The
    Rev. Marshall P. Lucas will officiate.
    Interment will be in North
    Ridge cemetery.
