    Funeral services w i l l be
    conducted Wednesday in Medina
    for a former assistant
    football coach at Niagara
    Falls High School.
    Russell A. Houserman, 51,
    idied unexpectedly S u n d ay
    (June 24. 1962) at Medina Memorial
    Hospital after suffering
    a heart attack. A teacher
    for. the last 13 years in the
    Medina school system, he
    taught physical education at
    Niagara Falls High from 1945-
    47, during which time he was
    assistant to Harold Cripe, head
    football coach.
    Surviving are his widow,
    Electa Ullrich Houserman,
    and a daughter and son, Cathy
    and Kim Houserman. all at
    home.
    Services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
    Barnes-Tuttle Funeral Home,
    Medina. Burial will be in Elm
    lawn Cemetery, Kenmore

    Mr. and Mrs. Herman H. Ullrich
    of "The Glengarry", Youngstown,
    New York, formerly of Tonawanda
    announce the engagement of
    their daughter, Electa G. to Mr.
    Russell A. Houserman of Youngstown,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. E. August
    Houserman of Gloversville,
    New York.
    The announcement was made at
    a New Year's day party at "The
    Glangarry". A buffet supper was
    served with the table attractively
    decorated with center piece of red
    balloons in which the announcement
    was placed.
    Out of town guests included
    friends from Tonawanda, North
    Tonawanda, Kenmore and Bergen.
    Mr. Houserman is a graduate of
    the Springfield College, and is now
    Physical Director of the Youngstown
    High School.

    The marriage of Miss Electa
    Gladys Ullrich, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Herman H. Ullrich of
    "The Glengarry," Youngstown,
    N.Y., to Russell A, Hauserman of
    Gloversvilie, N.Y., physical director
    of the Youngstown high
    .school, was solemnized on Wednesday,
    April 16, in Salem Evangelical
    and Reformed church, the
    Rev. Walter F. Hetzel officiating.
    The church was decorated with
    clusters of Easter lilies, and vases
    of white snapdragons and candles
    adorned the altar. A fifteen
    minute organ recital preceded the
    ceremony and the Rev. Mr. Daerschcrg
    sang '°Because,'' and "I
    Love You Truly."
    The bride, who was given in
    marriage by her father, was
    gowned in white marquisette with
    lace trimming and square neckline
    and her veil of illusion fell
    from a sweetheart headdress. She
    wore a string of pearls and her
    shower bouquet was nf white
    roses and sweetpeas.
    Miss Orma Mac Ullrich, sister
    of t,he bride, was maid of honor,
    wearing a long spring flowered
    taffeta gown with sweetheart
    neckline and she carried a colonial
    bouquet. E, Kenneth Stevens
    of Youngstown attended the
    groom as best man. and the ushers
    were Wilbert Janke and Emerson
    Luther.
    The bride's mother wore a twopiece
    navy blue gown and the
    mother of the groom also chose
    navy blue. Each wore
    of sweetpeas.
    Following the ceremony a buffet
    dinner was served from a
    table centered with a three tiered
    wedding cake and further decorated
    with white snapdragons and
    candles. Guests were present from
    Ann Aarbor, Mich., Gloversville,
    Buffalo, Kenmore, Niagara Falls,
    bergen and the Tonawandas.
    Mr. and Mrs. Hauserman have
    returned from their wedding trip
    to Washington, D.C. and other
    points in the south and will make
    their home in Youngstown.
