    Millard F. Allen, 70, of Bushville,
    died at the Batavia hospital yesterday.
    Besides his. Wife Mr. Allen
    leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lee
    Simpson of Wheatville and Mrs. William
    Phillips of Buffalo. Funeral services
    tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock from
    the home.

    The marriage of Millard F. Allen of
    Batavia and Miss Olive Peard of East
    Pembroke was solemnized at the home
    of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
    Robert Peard. at 4 p. m. yesterday. They
    were attended by R. K. Peard as best
    man and Mrs, R K. Peard as matron of
    henor. The bridal party entered the
    room to the strains of Lohengrin's wedding
    march and stood beneath an arch
    of evergreens, artistically draped with
    pink and white. The Rev. A. T. Young
    officiated.
    The bride was attired in her going
    away gown of rastor broadcloth and carried
    white carnations and t h e matron of
    honor in white lansdowne and carried
    pink carnations. The bride received
    many valuable gifts. A bountiful sup
    per was served under the direction of
    Mrs. M E Powers. Guests were present
    from Rochester. Buffalo. Batavia.
    Oakfield and Corfu. Mr. and Mrs. Allen
    drove to Batavia and left at 6:35 o'clock
    for an extended trip in the West.

    OAKFIKMI, June 17.-Seneca Allen,
    one of the oldest and best known residents
    of this town, died at 10 a. m. to-
    day, afters an illness of less than two
    days, at his home on the Batavia-Oaklicld
    townline road.
    Mr. Allen was bom on September 26,
    1821, in Batavia, but for sixty years he
    had lived on the farm where he died. On
    March 2H, 1844, he was married to Miss
    Marie Showerman, who died a year ago
    last October. He is survived by two
    sons and a daughter, Millard Allen of
    Batavia and Walter Allen and Miss
    Retta Allen, who live at home; two
    brothers, William Allen of Batavia and
    Walter Allen of Michigan, and five
    grandchildren. -
    .The funeral will be held from-the
    house at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon
