He attended tghe New York State Police Academy and was employed as a NYSP Trooper, retiring as an Investigator after working over 30 years with the department. He is a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, and he enjoyed gardening & golf. Father of John (Cheryl) Mack of Wheatfield, Andrew Mack of Philidelphia, PA; brother of Harvey Mack Jr. of Wheatfield, Sandy Paul of Niagara Falls, Shirley Pope of Cape Coral, FL; pre-deceased by his wife, Kathryn M. (Gensler) Mack on September 6, 1999; and his parents. Friends may call the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Rd. (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Friday from 6-9 PM. Services will be conducted on by the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer on Saturday at 9:00 AM in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Dr., North Tonawanda. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.     Kathryn M. Mack, 55, of Ferchen Street, who worked in food service for the last five years in the Niagara-Wheatfield School District, died Monday (Sept. 6, 1999) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness. The former Kathryn Gensler was born in Niagara Falls and was a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School. Mrs. Mack had also attended the State University at Albany for a year and Niagara University for a year. Mrs. Mack worked as a secretary with the Niagara-Wheatfield School District and then as a secretary at the former Hooker Chemicals & Plastics Corp. for many years. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda. Mrs. Mack enjoyed reading and crafts. Survivors include her husband, George; her mother, Mildred Gensler of Port Richey, Fla.; two sons, John and Andrew; and two brothers, William of Woodward, Ok., and John of Cape Coral, Fla. Services will be held at noon Friday in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Drive, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton

    Services for Mildred Ferchen Gensler of Port Richey, Fla., a homemaker and former resident of Wheatfield, will be at 10 A.M. Friday in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Drive, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
    Mrs. Gensler, who was born in the Town of Wheatfield, died Sunday (April 11, 2004) at home after a brief illness. She was 91.
    She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening and playing cards.
    She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey.
    Her husband, Alfred, died in 1988.
    Survivors include two sons, William of Woodward, OK., and John of Cape Coral, Fla.; a sister, Esther Thiemecke of Wheatfield; a brother, Fremont Ferchen of Bergholz; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
