Mrs. Caroline Ernsting, 78 years
old, a life-long resident of North
Tonawanda, died Saturday night at
her home, 159 Rumbold avenue. She
is survived by two sons, Fred, Buffalo,
and Frank, North Tonawanda;
a sister, Mrs. Arvilla Casey, and a
brother, Valentine Rumbold, both of
North Tonawanda

Jacob Rumbold, aged 79 years,
died yesterday afternoon of bronchitis
at his home on Robinson
street. The deceased was one of the
Tonawandas, oldest and most respected
citizens, having being a resident
here for the past 51 years.
Mrs. Barbara Rumbold, his wife;
three daughters Mrs. Ernstlng, Mrs
Joseph Hyland and Mrs. John Stackhouse,
and t w o sons John and
Walter survive. The notice of the
funeral which will take place on Friday
will be given tomorrow.

Mrs. Barbara A, Rumbold, 85 years
old, widow of Jacob Rumbold, died al
her home at No. 783 Robinson street
this morning, after a lingering illness.
She was born in Germany and had liv-
ed in North Tonawanda during the
past sixty years. Two sons, Valentine
and John Rumbold. and three daughters,
Mrs. Joseph Hyland, Mrs. Frank
Atwood and Mrs. Charles Ernestine,
all of Tonawanda, survive.
