    Notes:

    Richard G. “Dick” Lingenfelter, lifetime area resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2016 after a brief illness. He was 85. He was born in Niagara Falls on February 21, 1931, a son of the late Starn and Maude (Dickey) Lingenfelter. He attended local school and graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School. Dick served in the United States Navy and then began his career as a fabricator at Carborundum.

    Mr. Lingenfelter is survived by his daughter Darlene (Richard) Wall, two grandchildren: Tonja (Mike) Keller and Albert Smith IV and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers: Merle, Boyd (Auga) and Lester (Mary) Lingenfelter. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by four siblings: Liz, Fanny, Jenning and Bart.

    There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 2 P.M. at Niagara Presbyterian Church, 3712 Military Road, Niagara Falls.

    CARL F. HASELEY
    Carl F. Haseley, 68, of 501 B St., Sunny Acres, died Friday (Sept. 22, 1972) in Memorial Medical Center where he had been a patient for six weeks.
    He was born in the Town of Niagara and retired in 1969 from the Penn Central Railroad where he had been an engineer for 35 years.
    Mr. Haseley was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
    Survivors include three sons, L. Charles Haseley of Niagara Falls, Curtis Haseley of Sacramento, Calif., and Ralph L. Biddle of Youngstown; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Lingenfelder of the Town of Niagara: two brothers, Eric (sic) J. Haseley of Town of Niagara, and Louis Haseley of the Town of Pendleton; a sister, Mrs. Hugo (Ella) Walck of the Town of' Wheatfield; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    His wife, Ida A. Haseley, died Nov. 28, 1971.
    Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold L. Baum officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 79 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7.9 p.m. Sunday.
    Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church or a preferred charity.

    Carl married CUSHMAN, Mary Jane on 10 Aug 1927 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, and was divorced in Oct 1937 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY.     Mrs. Hooper was a former employee of Jenss Department Store, Niagara Falls, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
    Mrs. Hooper is survived by her husband, Wayne Hooper; three sons, Curtis Haseley of Sacramento, Calif., Leonard Haseley of Niagara Falls and James LaBove, Town of Wheatfield; two stepsons, Norbert Hooper of Homestead, Fla. and Robert Hooper of New Orleans, La.; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Grace) Lingenfelter, of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Frederick (Mary Jane) Skorik: of Town of Wheatfield, Mrs. Jack (Gail) Zimmerman of the Town of Lewiston and Mrs. Donald (Joyce) Hall of Niagara Falls; a step-daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Jamieson of Lewiston; a brother Arthur L. Hansler of Detroit, Mich. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services. will be conducted at the funeral home Monday 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. William J. Devine. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.

    Divorce Decree Filed
    LOCKPORT. Oct. 21.—An interlocutory
    decree of divorce, granted
    to Carl Haseley, 3205 Porter rond,
    Niagara Falls, from Mary J. Hoseley,
    1140 Whitney avenue, Niagara
    Falls, was filed yesterday at the
    county clerk's office. The decree
    was signed by Supreme Court Jus-
    tlce Alonzo O. Hlnkley and gave the
    father custody of three children,
    Curtis, nine, Charles, seven, and
    Grace, six. The couple married
    August 10, 1927, at Niagara Falls.
