received flere of the death
today (Oct. 15, 1963) fn Ansonia,
Conn., of Charles E.
Rutland, 46. Mr. Rutland was
the son of the late Richard
E. and May Shannon Rutland
and had lived here until about
20 years ago.
He was a brother of Mrs.
Thomas Adamson, Mrs. Agnes
Dempsey, Mrs. Leonard Case,
Mrs. Wilftam Smth Jr. and
R. Allen Rutland, all of Newfane,
who hare left to attend
services in Ansonia.

Richard married SHANNON, Mary about 1905. Mary (daughter of SHANNON, Charles and Isabelle) was born in Mar 1884 in New York; died on 11 Nov 1941 in Town of Newfane, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

NEWPANE-Mrs. Mary Elizabeth
Rutland, 57, died last evening at her
home, in North Main street after
a cerebral hemorrhage suffered Satur-
day night.
Mrs. Rutland was bom March ??
1884, a daughter of the late Charles
and Isabelle Shannon, she was
a past noble grand of Cheer Re-
bekah Lodge, No. 588. a member of
the Methodist Women; Christle
Servlce society, the Miller
company auxiliary and the Friend-
ship circle.
She Is survived by her husband,
Richard E. Rutland: four daughters
Mrs. Thomas Adamson. Mrs. Leon-
ard Case, Miss Lois Rutland all of
Newfane, and Mrs. Weldon
sey, of Lockport; two sons. R.
Rutland, of Newfane, and Private
Charles Rutland, of Fort Bragg
N. C and a sister, Mrs. Anna Cor-
win, of Newfane.
