    Edward Rosseau Claimed by Death
    Edward W. H. Rosseau of Dalton, 77, born in North Tonawanda and a resident of that city the greater part of his life, died at Warsaw hospital May 21, 1946. A prayer service was held at the A. Jaenecke residence on the State Road near Angelica Friday. The funeral was held in St. Paul's Lutheran church in North Tonawanda and burial was made in St. Paul's cemetery in North Tonawanda. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Sahr Rosseau; one daughter, Mrs. Martin Wendt of Dalton; four grandchildren, Mrs. Albert Jaenecke, Henry Wendt, Mrs. Louis Desautell and Marvin Wendt; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Rosseau ot Newfane and Louis Rosseau of Hartland Corners; one sister, Mrs. Eila Wass of Barker; also nephews and nieces.

    Edward married SAHR, Ida Ulricke Rosalia about 1892 in New York. Ida (daughter of SAHR, Friedrich Otto and RICHERT, Ida Ulricke Rosalia) was born on 1 Apr 1871 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died on 2 May 1956 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    1. ROSSEAU, Elsie M was born on 8 Feb 1898 in Orleans County, NY; died on 29 Mar 1990 in Plant City, Hillsborough County, FL.
