    The marriage of Miss Mildred
    Bendt, daughter of Mrs. Dora Bendt
    of 411 West avenue, and Charles F.
    VanEvera, son of Roy VanEvera of
    Lockport, was solemnized Saturday,
    Sept 9, at 5 o'clock in the parsonage
    of the Ridgewood Lutheran church,
    tne Rev. William Dallman performing
    the ceremony.
    The bride wore a blackberry chiffon
    velvet dress with high neckline
    and pearl clips at the shoulders. She
    wore velvet leaves in her hair and
    her accessories were of black. Her
    bouquet was of yellow tea roses,
    orchid sweetpeas and gypsophlla.
    She was attended by Mrs. Clarence
    Bendt of Appleton, who wore
    a love bird blue dress with bustle
    back and black accessories. Her
    flowers were pink roses and gypsophlla.
    Clarence Bendt was best
    man.
    Mrs. Bendt, mother of the bride,
    wore blue silk lace with matching
    accessories and corsage of mixed
    flowers.
    Following the ceremony a dinner
    was served at Thurston's restaurant
    to the bridal party.
    Mr. and Mrs, Bendt will make
    their home at 411 West avenue.

    services will be conducted Wednesday
    afternoon, May 13 from her
    late home at 2 o'clock and from
    the N. Ridge Lutheran Church at
    3:30. Burial In N. Ridge Lutheran

    WILSON, April 20-Mr. and Mrs.
    Rudolph Bendt of the Shadigee
    road. Wilson, were pleasantly surprised
    on Tuesday evening when
    their children and grandchildren
    gathered at the home of Mr. and
    Mrs. Arthur Hausman to celebrate
    their golden wedding anniversary.
    The dining room was decorated in
    gold and white, with a large white
    bell suspended over the center of
    the table. At seven o'clock an elaborate
    dinner was served. The table
    was centered with a bouquet of yel
    low and white flowers, with a three
    tiered wedding cake decorated In
    gold at each end. The evening was
    spent In playing cards and bingo.

    Ferdinand Schultz, aged 72 years, died at his home in St. Johnsburg early yesterday morning. Besides a wife he is survived by two children, one son and a daughter. The funeral services will be held from the family home at 1 o'clock and at 1:30 o'clock
    from St. Johnsburg church tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in St. Johnsburg cemetery.
