Barbara L. Carlisto, 54, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2020 at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, she was he daughter of the late Neil R. and Shirleyann E. (Price) Jarvis; and beloved wife of Thomas W. Carlisto who she married on July 4, 1989.  
Barb was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School. She was currently employed at Subway on Pine Avenue where she enjoyed greeting customers, many who became friends. Barb enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, but most of all, night swimming with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 30 years, she is survived by her children, Amanda (William Rial) Carlisto, Summer (Joseph Markel) Carlisto and Lexus Carlisto; her grandchildren, McKayla, Mason and Thomas; her mother-in-law, Carol Tortorice; her dog, Vito; her best friend, Jean Pascuzzi, as well as Jonathan Ward who was like a son to her. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; was predeceased by her father-in-law Charles Carlisto.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29th from 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. LEWISTON — Neil R. Jarvis, 72, of Lewiston, NY, died on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Claude V. and Teresa A. Jarvis, and step-son of the late Grace L. Jarvis.

Neil was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. He attended local schools including Niagara County Community College and Niagara University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. Neil served in the United States Air Force from January 17, 1957 until his honorable discharge on January 16, 1961, and continued to serve his country in the United States Navy Reserves for 20 years. On April 24, 1965, he married Shirleyann E. (Price) Jarvis at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Church in Niagara Falls. For over 30 years, Neil was employed at Occidental Chemical Corp. in Niagara Falls in the Caustic Chemical Department, as well as serving as a union representative. Neil was a member of NERA (Naval Enlisted Reserve Association) and an exempt member of the Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Company. He also volunteered as a driver at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston. Above all, Neil was devoted to his family and friends, and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, Neil is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lynn (Thomas) Carlisto of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren, Amanda (William Rial) Carlisto, Summer (Joseph Markel) Carlisto and Lexus Carlisto; two great- grandchildren, Mckayla and Mason; one brother, James “Larry” (Carolyn) Jarvis of Pendleton, NY; his step-brother and sisters, Nancy (Quentin) Farmer of Georgia, Lawrence Archie of Niagara Falls, NY, Christine (Tom) Urbaniak and Lisa (Tom) Bickleman, both of Wheatfield, NY; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2–7 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 7th at 10 AM, with Rev. Robert Hughson officiating. Entombment with Military Honors will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

Shirleyann E. (Price) Jarvis. 73 of the Town of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Saturday March 14, 2015 while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Wayland, NY, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Lucille (Schumbehl) Price.

Shirleyann moved to the Niagara Falls area as a young child with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On April 24, 1965 she married Neil R. Jarvis at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Jarvis predeceased her on November 3, 2011. For thirty years, Shirleyann worked at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY as a nurse’s aid and later on as a surgical prep assistant until her retirement. She was a long time devoted member of St. Leo’s Church in the Town of Niagara. Above all Shirleyann was devoted to her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be remembered for her generosity and giving heart.

Shirleyann is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lynn (Thomas) Carlisto of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren, Amanda (William Rial) Carlisto, Summer (Joseph Markel) Carlisto and Lexus Carlisto; three great-grandchildren, Mckayla, Mason and Thomas, her sisters, Elaine (Robert) Abersold of Niagara Falls, NY, Geraldine (Edward) Daul of Cambria, NY, Agnes Sulkey of Colorado, her brother-in-law, James “Larry” (Carolyn) Jarvis of Pendleton, NY; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister Joanne (William of Niagara Falls, NY) Biggins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 - 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Thursday March 19th at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating.
