    MIDDLEPORT - A retired
    farmer, Irving R. S t a h l , 54,
    d i e d unexpectedly Thursday
    (March 10, 1966) at the Walpine
    Hotel, Lockprt, after suffering
    a heart attack. He had
    lived at the hotel for the last
    two years.
    Born Sept. 24, 1911, in the
    Town of Royalton, he was the
    son of Rudolph and Bertha
    Pittler Stahl. He was a veteran
    of World War II, serving in the
    European theater of operations.
    Survivors include three sisters,
    Mrs. Vernon F. Childs,
    Town of Royalton, Mrs. Leslie
    Hodgins, Middleport, and Mrs.
    Frank Hernberger, Newfane; a
    brother, Elwood W Stahl, Town
    of Royalton; also several nieces
    and nephews.
    Friends may .call from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace
    and Heath F u n e r a l Home,
    where services will be held
    at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Carlton
    Fausett of Royalton Center
    Methodist Church officiating.
    Burial will be in Royalton
    Mountain Ridge Cemetery

    His wife, the former Bertha Pittler.

    57 years, died Feb. 20. 1957.
    He is survived by four sons and
    four daughters;. Elmer Stahl, Ellwood
    Stahl. Franklin Stahl. all of
    Royalton Center. Irving Stahl of
    Lockport; Mrs. Vernon F. Childs,
    Royalton Center. Mrs. Leslie Hodgins.
    Mrs. Jerome Sparks, both of

    .Wednesday- afternoon (Feb.20.
    1957) at Lockport Memorial Hospital.
    She was the wife of Rudolph
    Stahl.
    Surviving are four daughters,
    Mrs. Vernon F. Childs, this community,
    Mrs. Leslie Hodgins and
    Mrs. Jerome Sparks, both of Mid
    dieport, and Mrs, Frank Hern-
    berger, Newfane; four sons, Elmer,
    Elwood and Franklin Stahl, all of
    this community, and Irving Stahl,
    Lockport; 14 grandchildren and
    eight great-grandchildren; three
    brothers,.August Pitler, this communlty,
    Charles Pitler,, Cambria,
    and William Pitler, Pendleton; and
    one sister, Mrs August. Brown,
    Lockport; Several nieces and

    7-10 p.m. Friday at the - Wallace
    & Heath Funeral Home. Middle-,

    be. Conducted at 2.. p.m. Saturday
    by the Rev. Gordon Thurber. Burial
    will be in Royalton Mountain
    Ridge Cemetery.

    DEATH OF MRS. STAHL
    MIDDLEPORT, May 24 - Mrs August Stahl. age 78 years, died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Fiertz, east of the village on the State road. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Fiertz, Mrs. August Schrader of Middleport, Mrs. John Schrader of Medina, Mrs. Lewis Klino of the Ridge road, three sons Charles and John Stahl at Middleport and Rudolph Stahl of Royalton Center. two sisters, one at Wolcottsville and one at the Ridge. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock, new time, from the Fiertz home. Burial at Mountain Ridge cemetery.
