Joan E. Rands (Stahl)

April 11, 1946 - December 28, 2020
Joan passed away on December 28, 2020 at age 74 in Spencerport.
Joan was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother who found great joy in family gatherings. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, being by water and her dog, PoohBear.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Rands.
Joan is survived by her mother, Mary Corliss Stahl; aunt, Charlene Seekins Smith; children, Lorelei (David) Smith, Renee Maisel, and Brett (Barbara) Rands; grandchildren, Ryan (Sydney) Maisel, Alexandra (Spencer) Bedwell, Corey Smith, Cameron Rands, and Morgan Rands; great-grandchildren, Chase and Easton Bedwell; brother, Kevin (Gertrude) Stahl; nieces, Tricia (Jared) Bruning and Erin (Chris) Ewin; dear friend, Priscilla McAllister; and many others.
There will be a celebration of Joan's life in the summer.

MIDDLEPORT - Elwood
(Bob) Stahl, 63, of 9056
Chestnut Ridge Road, died
unexpectedly Tuesday at the
Erie County Medical Center.
Born May 14,1917 in the Town
of Royalton, he was the son of
Rudolph and Bertha Pittler
Stahl.
An insurance agent in the
MidcQeport area for over 30
years, Mr. Stahl was an active
golfer and bowler, and sponsored
a bowling team. He was a
member of the National Impaula
Association, the Corvair
Society of America, Gasport
Masonic Lodge No. 787 F&AM,
and the Terry's Corners
Volunteer Fire Co.
A lifelong member of the
Royalton Methodist Church, he
was also active in the Gasport
Alumni Association, being a
graduate of the Class of 1933.
He also belonged to the Model A
Restorers Club.
Survivors include his wife,
Mary; eat sea, Kevin, el
Middleport; one daughter, Mrs.
Richard (Joan) Rands of
Brockport; four „ grand-"
children; one sister, Mrs. Elsie
Hodgins of Lockport; several
nieces and nephews.

Obituary of Mary C. Stahl

Mary Corliss Stahl passed away November 2, 2021.
Born in Sanborn NY, second of four children of Filmore and Olive (Bodie) Marshall.
Mary was surrounded by musicians from an early age with her grandfather and mother being professional musicians/teachers.  She continued her musical training concentrating in piano musicianship and pedagogy and maintained a large studio of piano and organ students in the area.  She was a lifelong church organist serving many congregations including most recently Clinton Street United Methodist where she was also a member.  She also became an entertainer as part of the C C’s of Melody performing both in the US and Canada.
Mary Corliss married Elwood (Bob) Stahl, deceased, and had two children, Joan (Richard) Rands and Kevin (Gertrude) Stahl.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Elwood, her daughter Joan, her sister Phyllis Cothran Ebling and brother Franklin Marshall.  She is survived by sister Charlene M Seekins.  She was a loving grandmother of Lorelei (David) Smith, Renee Maisel, Brett (Barbara) Rands, Tricia (Jared) Bruning, Erin (Chris) Ewin.  She was blessed with many great grandchildren including Ryan (Sydney) Maisel, Alexandra (Spencer) Bedwell, Corey Smith, Zachary and Samuel Bruning, Peyton Erwin,  Cameron and Morgan Rands with great, great grandchildren Chase and Easton Bedwell.

DEATH OF MRS. STAHL
MIDDLEPORT, May 24 - Mrs August Stahl. age 78 years, died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Fiertz, east of the village on the State road. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Fiertz, Mrs. August Schrader of Middleport, Mrs. John Schrader of Medina, Mrs. Lewis Klino of the Ridge road, three sons Charles and John Stahl at Middleport and Rudolph Stahl of Royalton Center. two sisters, one at Wolcottsville and one at the Ridge. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock, new time, from the Fiertz home. Burial at Mountain Ridge cemetery.
