    Niagara Gazette 1935. JOHNSON   CREEK,   Sept.   30 - The  marriage of Miss Evelyn Silsby, daughter of Louisa Silsby, of Hartland anand Walter Baes, son  of Mr. and Mrs. Charles  Baes, of  Gasport was solemnized Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock, at the Friends chchurch, Gasport.

    LQCKPORT - Charles A.
    Baes, 80, of Maplewood Drive,
    Gasport, died Saturday (April
    14, 1962) as he strolled in
    Main Street.
    Mr. Baes, who had lived
    here most of his life, collapsed
    on the street after an
    apparent heart attack. He was
    pronounced dead by Dr. Francis
    Clifford.
    Born in the Town of Hartland,
    he was the son of John
    and Rosina Baes. He had
    worked as a painter, and carpenter
    in this community for
    many years. He was a member
    of the Gasport Friends
    Church.
    Survivors include his widow,
    Mrs. Harriet Baes, two
    sons, Clifford Baes, Louisiana;
    Walter Baes, Florida; a daughter,
    Mrs. Alice Hooter, Sanborn;
    a brother, George Baes,
    Lockport. Also surviving are
    nine grandchildren and six
    great-grandchildren.
    Rev. Norman Boley, will
    conduct funeral services at 11
    a.m. Wednesday at the Bream
    Funeral Home, Gasport. Burial
    will be in Hartland Central
    Cemetery.

    Royalton. Other sons and daughters
    are: John H. Baes, George G. Baes.
    Mary H. Hess. William L. Baes and
    Sadie C. Metcalf. all of Gasport,
    and Mabel A Thompson, R. F. D. 4,
    Lockport.

    Funeral services will be held from
    the home of his son, William Baes,

    Central cemetery,
