    Mr. and Mrs..G. Maurice Connor, Conne-
    mara, Paoli, Pa., announce the engagement-of
    their daughter, Kathryn Joan Priscilla, to Lowell
    Albert Toenniessen,;son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert,
    J. Toenniessen, Wilson.
    The prospective bride is a senior at Syracuse
    University School of Journalism. Mr. Toennieisen,
    a 1955 graduate of Syracuse University, is a member
    of" the United States Air Force and is stationed
    at Scotia, N. Y.
    A June wedding is planned.

    MISS KATHRYN JOAN CONNOR, who will exchange
    marriage vows with Lowell Albert Toenniessen on
    June 22, has named her sister. Miss Kathleen Connor, as
    maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Miss Allyne V. Smith,
    Red Hook; Miss Faith Marie Connor, sister of the bride,
    and Miss Grace L. Frarv, Dumont, N. J.
    Mr. Toenniessen has chosen Michael A. Connor,
    brother of the bride, to attend him as best man. Performing
    the ushering duties will be Rodney Toenniessen, brother of
    the bridegroom, John G. Tarr, Wilson, and Stanley N.
    Rosenfeld, New York City.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.
    Maurice Connor, Paoli, Pa. The prospective bridegroom
    is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Toenniessen, Wilson.
    The ceremony will take place at St. Monica's Church,
    Berwyn. Pa. A wedding reception will be held at "Conne-
    mara." home of the bride's parents.

    Bouquets of white gladioli enhanced the altar
    of St. Monica's Church, Berwyn, Pa., for the
    marriage on Saturday afternoon (June 22, 1957)
    of Miss Kathryn Joan Priscilla Connor, and Lowell
    Albert Toenniessen. The Rev. Robert L. Hyde
    performed the double-ring ceremony.
    The bride, who is ihe daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs C Maurice Connor. 'Connemara," Paoli,
    Pa., was given in marriage by her father to the son
    Of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Toenniessen, Wilson.
    A floor-length gown of nylon tulle, appliqued
    with orange blossoms, was the choice of the brideelect.
    It was designed with an illusion neckline
    and button down back and elbow length illusion
    sleeves. A crown of seed pearls held her fingertiplength
    veil. She wore a family heirloom necklace
    of pearls, and long kid gloves. Roses, baby breath
    and stephanotis formed her old fashioned nosegay
    bouquet.
    Miss Kathleen Connor was maid of honor for
    her sister. She wore' a yellow organdy and taffeta
    ballerina length dress with scalloped petal sleeves,
    scoop neckline and cummerbund in contrasting
    yellow taffeta. The cummerbund formed a bustle
    in the back. Her white straw and lace picture hat
    was enhanced with yellow streamers and she carried
    a bouquet of white flowers and yellow roses.
    Miss Faith Marie Connor, sister of the bride;
    Miss Allyne Smith, Barrytown, N. V.. and Miss
    Grace Frary, Dumont, N. J. wore dresses similar
    to the honor attendant in nilc green, with matching
    green ribbon on their hats. "Their baskets of flowers
    were all yellow tied with green ribbons.
    Michael A- Connor. "Connemara," brother of
    the bride was best man for Mr. Toenniessen. Rodney
    Toenniessen, brother of the bridegroom, Wilson;
    John Tarr, Wilson; Stanley N. Rosenfeld,
    New York and William Schultz, Berwyn, Pa.
    were ushers.
    For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Connor
    chose a navy blue lace and nylon tiered sheath
    dress with white accessories and an orchid corsage.
    The mother of the bridegroom selected a dusty
    rose lace ensemble with white accessories and a
    white orchid corsage.
    A reception held at the home of the bride's
    parents followed the ceremony. The house was
    decorated with ferns and ivy greens and tables
    were arranged on the terrace for the guests.
    After a honeymoon trip to the Thousand
    Islands, the couple will reside in Schenectady.
    The-bride is a 1957 graduate of Syracuse University,
    school of Journalism. Her husband is a
    1955 graduate of Syracuse University and is serving
    in the United States Air Force.
