    WILSON—Mr. and Mrs. Rodney William
    Toenniessen are honeymooning In the
    Adirondack Mountains after their wedding
    Saturday (Aug. 8, 1964) at Exley Methodist
    .Church.
    Rev. Raymond H. Draffin united the
    former Miss Susanne Wray Scheffler
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs Gordon Scheffler,
    236 Seminary St., and the son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Albert Toenniessen, 165 Young St., in
    a double-ring ceremony.
    The bride,.escorted by her father, wore
    a white silk organza gown and a silk illusion
    veil held by a crown of crystals and
    pearls.. White carnations formed her
    colonial bouquet.
    Attendents wore ice blue brocaded
    nylon over satin and carried colonial bouquets,
    of pink carnations. They were Mrs.
    Patricia Updefgrove, sister of the bride,
    matron-of honor; Miss Faye-Bradley, Newfane;
    Mrs. Richard Napoli, Ransomville;
    and Mrs. Gary Zlemendorf,. bridesmaids.,.
    Lowell Toenniessen, Binghamton was
    best man for his brother. Ushers were
    R o g e r Hutchison, Gary Zlemendorf,
    Richard Napoli, of Ransomville, and George
    Tripp of Lockport.
    Mothers of the bridal couple wore pink
    dresses with: white accessories.
    A receptioh was held at the Cambria
    Community Center.
    Mr. and Mrs. Toenniessen plan to reside
    in Young Street.

    WILSON - Mrs. Anna Toen-
    niessen,'93. of 165 Young St.,
    Wilson, died Sunday (Aug. 30,
    1970) at the Inter-Community,
    Memorial Hospital. Newfane.
    She was born Oct. 23, 1876
    in Gardenville, N.Y., t h e
    daughter of Charles and
    Ernestine Lehsten Israel. She
    was married to Julius Toenniessen
    and they made their
    home on Ike Nelson Road,
    Wilson. After his death June
    18. 1948, she made her home
    with her son, Albert J. Toen-
    niessen of the above address .
    She was a member of the
    Wilson Golden Age Club.
    In addition to Albert, she is
    also survived by two other sons
    Norman C of Lockport and
    Julius M Toenniessen of
    Niagara Falls; a brother, Bert
    Israel of here and two sisters,
    Mrs. Clara Schuman of
    Lockport, and Mrs. Ida Dietrick
    of here. Also surviving are four
    grandchildren and 10 great-
    grandchildren.
    Beginning today, friends may
    call at the Hamilton and Clark
    Funeral Chapel here where the
    family will also be present
    Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7
    to 9 p.m.
    Funeral services will be held
    Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the
    Rev. Frederick Savage offi-
    ciating. Burial will be in North
    Ridge Cemetery.

    WILSON-Funeral services
    will be held Tuesday for William
    Edward Lash, 80, of 165
    Young St., who died Saturday
    '(March 28, 1964) in Niagra
    Falls Memorial Hospital
    where he had been a patient
    for five weeks.
    Mr. Lash was born March
    12, 1884, in Pittsford, N.Y.
    He had been a farmer in the
    Wilson area all his life. For
    the last three years he had
    made his home with ° his
    daughter, Mrs. Albert (Mildred)
    Toenniessen at the
    Young street address.
    He was mrried in 1906 to
    Martha Hecht who died in
    1956. Besides his daughter he
    is survived by two grandsons,
    Lowell Toenniessen,
    Binghamton, and R o d n ey
    Toenniessen, Wilson and
    three great grandchildren.
    Friends may call from 2-4
    and 7-9,p.m. at.the Hamilton
    Clark Funeral Home where
    services will be conducted by
    Rev. Ernest Kerrison of the
    Exley Methodist Church.
