    HARMON, MARILYN M. (nee Parmentier), age 88 of the City of Tonawanda, October 18, 2022 at her residence. Wife of the late Arthur Prohaska and the late Miaret "Dean" Harmon, mother of Cheryl Sparks, Sandra Prohaska and the late Paula Lawrie and the late Joseph Prohaska, step-mother of Thomas and Michael Harmon and the late Dale Lynn (living spouse Keith) Luke, also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sister of the late Sally, Jean, Shirley and Edward. Also many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a life long dedicated member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday October 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71 Adam St. in Tonawanda. Please assemble at the Chapel.     PROHASKA – John T. Prohaska, 64, of North Tonawanda, N.Y., Thursday (May 9, 1974) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Mr. Prohaska was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, a retired postal employee and member of St. Mark Lutheran church.

    He is survived by his wife, Mildred (nee Vogt) Prohaska; a son, Arthur A., and two daughters, Mrs. Norbert (Carol) Schultz and Mrs. Philip (Sharon) Durlick, all of North Tonawanda; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Frank of Buffalo, Peter of Alden and Joseph Prohaska of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Miss Ann Prohaska of New York City and Mrs. James (Helen) Polizzi of Buffalo.

    The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, North Tonawanda, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in St. Mark Lutheran Church, Monday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Edward C. Goehner will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Hour.

    Frank Prohaska
    Frank Prohaska, 50 years old, died Tuesday evening at his home, 21 Grove
    street. Born in Austria, he had lived in Tonawanda for the past 34 years.
    He leaves a wife, Katherine; four sons, John, Frank and Joseph, Tonawanda,
    and Peter, Miami; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Miller, New York city and Miss
    Helen Prohaska, Tonawanda; three grandchildren and two brothers, Joseph and
    John, Germany. Rites will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the
    home of his son, Frank, 605 Oliver street and at 9 o'clock from the St.
    Francis church. Burial will be in St. Francis cemetery. The Very Rev. John
    A. Weismantel will officiate.

    PROHASKA - Mrs. Catharine Prohaska, 75, died Wednesday, (Nov. 21, 1956) in
    Buffalo after a long illness. Born in Austria-Hungary, Mrs. Prohaska
    resided in Tonawanda the greater part of her life before moving to Buffalo
    five years ago. She was a member of St. Francis Church and a former member
    of the Altar Society of St. Francis Church. She is survived by two
    daughters, Miss Ann Prohaska of New York City and Mrs. James Polizzi of
    Buffalo, and four sons, John and Joseph of North Tonawanda, Frank of Niagara
    Falls and Peter of Alden, N. Y. Twelve grandchildren and six great
    grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home, 37
    Adam St., where services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and at 9 a.m. in St.
    Francis Church with the Rev. Wilbur Yaeger officiating. Burial in St.
    Francis Cemetery.

    slumped over the wheel of his car
    parked in Oliver street, late Saturday.
    Police and Coroner Henry Lapp
    wire called. The latter said death
    was due to a heart attack.
    Mr. Vogt is survived by his wife.
