were married at 7 o'clock Tuesday
evening at- the bride's home by tho
Rev. Charles Chalmers MacLean. D.
D. The: bridesmaid was Miss Irene
Spahn and the best man Franklyn
Morith. Miss Blanche Shumway played
the wedding march. After the
ceremony the guests were served a
four-course-dinner at the Red Clover
inn. Mr. and Mrs. Ackerson left by
train for New York, and upon their re-
turn after November 1st they Will reside
at No. 25 Trumbull place.

George R. Ackerson, 58, died Wednesday.
He leaves his wife, Mrs
Florence Alford Ackerson; a son, Raymond
G. of 6 Tracy avenue; a brother,
William B. of Niagara Falls; two
grandchildren, David and Adrienne
Ackerson, and several . nieces ana
nephews. Funeral Saturday at 2 p.m.
at the home, 13 Tracy avenue.

Mrs. Florence Ackerson, 86,
of .Batavia, a former resident
of Niagara Falls and Medina,
died Thursday (Sept. 26, 1963)
in St. Jerome Hospital in
Batavia.
Mrs. Ackerson had made her
home with a son, Raymond G.
Ackerson, in Batavia for the
last three years.
In addition to the son with
whom she made her home,
surviving are five step-children,
Mrs. Fred Page, this
city, Mrs. Ruth Gibson of
Richmond, Ind., Mrs. William
Crowe of Geneva, William
Ackerson of Lewiston and Bernie
Ackerman of this city.
Funeral services will be held
at 11 a.m. Saturday at the
Bohm Mortuary in Batavia.
Burial will be in Medina.

died, here Tuesday. She leaves her

two sisters, Mrs. Fred Glowlenka
arid Mrs. William Gear, and five
brothers, William J. Susat, Fred Susat,
George L. Susat and Charles E. Susat,
all ot Batavia; and Frank Susat of
Buffalo.
Private funeral services wore held
this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial
took place In Elmwood cemetery.
