    TOWN OF TONAWANDA — Constance (nee Higgs) Reitmulder, age 79, of the Town of Tonawanda, died Thursday, January 26, 2012, at home, after a long illness. Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Hilda (nee Flexon) Higgs and had been a resident of Grand Island for the greater part of her life before residing in the Town of Niagara from 1989 until 2007. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making clothing. Mrs. Reitmulder also enjoyed the companionship and activities of the Niagara Falls Senior Citizens group. She was the wife of the late Eugene Reitmulder and sister of the late Dennis Higgs.

    She is survived by her three daughters, Yvonne (Michael) Oliver, Linda (Mark) Wyno and Terry (Lenny) Hill; a sister, Margaret Smith; and a brother, John Higgs. Also surviving are six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-3 PM on Sunday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where memorial services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday.     146 Sixty-ninth street, died suddenly
    In Lockport. She was the
    wife of Bemle H. Ackerson and
    the mother of four children, Richard
    A., Frances M. and Robert K.
    Ackerson, all of this city, and Mrs.
    John Barry, Emporium, Pa.
    Mrs. Ackerson also is survived bv
    her father, August Steinbrenner,
    New York City, three brothers,
    Gottlieb, August and William Stein
    brenner, and three sisters, Mrs.
    Hasely. Mrs. Ralph Daubney and
    Mrs. George Hall, all of this sity.
    She also leaves three grandchildren.
    The funeral will be conducted at
    the Grldley Funeral home tomorrow-
    at 3 p.m. with Rev. Leonhard
    Ludwig officiating. Interment will
    be in the Memorial Park cemetery.
