TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — JoAnn (Rafalko) Kott, of the Town of Wheatfield, died on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Buffalo General Hospital. She was 67. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert on December 6th. She was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on August 8, 1944, the daughter of the late Edward and Josephine Rafalko. She attended area schools.

Mrs. Kott along with her husband, the late Robert was an avid antique collector and operated a co-op at the Shawnee Country Barns and the Ole General Store in Sanborn. She was a member of the Niagara Frontier Coin Club. She was the devoted grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Survivors include four children, Kendra Speck of North Tonawanda, Robert A. Kott (Justine) of Ransomville, Sean M. Kott of Wheatfield and Kimberly Kott of North Tonawanda; a sister, Marion Rosini of Lewiston; her grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4, 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday with Deacon Gary Terrana officiating. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Memorials, if desired, may be made St. Jude's Children's Research, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
