    Ellman - Harold Ellman, 54, of 8738 Point Ave, Niagara Falls died Tuesday in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital of a circulatory disorder. Born in North Tonawanda, he had lived in Niagara Falls for the last 50 years. he was a member of the Niagara Falls Fire Department since 1929 and was stationed at the Military Road firehall. he was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Niagara Falls and the LaSalle Sportsmen's Club. Services will be at 1 pm Friday from the Otto Redanz Funeral Home, Michigan Ave and Tenth, with the Rev. Lawrence Herfurth officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Ellman is survived by his wife Myra; two sons, Kenneth L. and John H., both of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Wilbur Tower of North Tonawanda., his mother, Minnie Ellman of Niagara Falls, and Three sisters, Mrs. Henry Drake and Mrs. David Taylor, both of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Henry LaMonte of Niagara Falls. Three grandchildren also survive.

    Harold married CROTTY, Anna S on 8 Aug 1926 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Anna (daughter of CROTTY, John C and Katherine G) was born about 1901; died on 8 Feb 1932 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Death has laid a heavy hand on the
    Ellman and Crotty families, this clty,
    the last six months. Yesterday,
    Mrs. Anna S. Ellman, 31 year
    old, wife of Harold J. Ellman and
    mother of year-old John H. Ellman,
    609 Elmwood avenue, died in Mt. St.
    Mary's hospital, after an illness of 12
    days.
    Mrs. Ellman was a member of the
    lady Trainmen, an auxiliary of the
    Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
    Until recently, when she and her husband
    moved from the north end of the
    city to the Elmwood avenue house, she
    was a member of the Sacred Heart
    church; at the time of her death she
    was enrolled as a member of St. Mary's
    of the Cataract church. She and her
    husband were extraordinarily devoted to
    one another and her death has come
    as a particularly cruel blows.
    Mrs. Ellman's mother, Mrs. Catherine
    Crotty, was killed In an automobile
    collision on the Niagara Falls-Buffalo
    boulevard on August 5. She died within
    a few hours of the accident.
    Funeral services for Mrs. Ellman will
    be held from the family home on
    Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock and
    from St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock.
    Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
    She Is survived by her husband,
    Harold J. Ellman; a son, John H.;
    two brothers, Timothy J. and Peter J.
    Crotty, of this city; three sisters, Mrs.
    Frank Benzel and Mrs. Burry. of Buf-
    Ifalo, and Mrs. Joseph S. Amann, of
    Youngstown, Ohio.

    Ellman-Crotty
    A quiet wedding took place In the
    rectory of the Sacred Heart church
    Wednesday, August 8, the Rev. J. J.
    Roche officaitlng, when Miss Ann
    Crotty, daughtor of Mrs. Catherine
    Crotty, became the bride of Harold
    Ellman. son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ellman
    of Elmwood avenue. The bride
    was charmingly gowned In a powd.er
    bluo romalne crepe, picture hat to
    match and carried an arm bouquet
    of bride roses, lily of the valley and
    gypsophllla. She was attended by
    her sister, Miss Helen Crotty, who
    was attractively gowned In aand
    crepe romalne over rose, picture hat
    to match and carried an arm bouquet
    of ophella roses and sweet peaa.
    The groom was attended by Herman
    J. Roth. After tho ceremony a wedding
    breakfast was served at the
    home of the bride for the Immediate
    family. The home was beautifully
    decorated with sweet peas and lilies
    of the vftlley. After the wedding
    breakfast Mr., and Mrs. Ellman left
    on an extended trip to Youngstown.

    which they will be at home at No.
    2210 Lockport street.. The pre-nuptials
    held in the bride's honor were
    given by Mra. William McCabe. Mrs.
    James Davitt, Mrs. Herman Drake,
    Mra. peter J. Crotty. tho Press Girls
    union and Mrs. G. Ellman.
